Looks like 2 of the brackets are slighty bent at the ends. This skid is a beast at 51 lbs. :militarypress:

I bought the skid for the 38 gallon but I have WhiteKnuckle sliders. I installed the sliders first then the skid. The holes in the side of the skid where the mounting bracket mounts to in my opinion would be best to not come drilled. The metal is very easy to drill into so that is not an issue. I figured when I made the purchase that it was a risk but figured it should just be a matter of re-drilling a new location for the hole in the side lip of the skid. Now I originally thought that it should be pretty close to where it needs to be. I was right but dangerously close but was able to drill a new hole next to the one in the skid.

I would suggest if anyone orders the gas skid and plan on using different sliders, perhaps mention at the time of order that you would like for the one hole not to be drilled.

I have P&P sliders so it maybe interesting to see if the hole location will become a factor.

    Thanks for the heads up

Perhaps that's why I have 5 brackets and only 4 holes. Looks looks it's going to be an all day project on the install

It took about 2 hours total with the install of my sliders then the 38 gallon skid. It went pretty smooth and the air drill and sharp bits ate through the frame like butter
