I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t. It uses the same BD mounting pattern so should really work with any S2 plate on the market.

I would much rather do this than an inside mounted camera for the rear.

I was thinking about that for my rear cam with my Thinkware. I had actually purchased the housing to start going down that path, but couldn't get them to ship the damn thing. I'm not a fan of their customer service.

Evil? They were kinda hard to get hold of when I asked to replace one of the burnt out LEDs but once I made contact, they were quick and friendly.

The modification of the 3rd light would require removal of one of the Baja S2 light pods. Not sure I wanna do that but it looks like that's the only way it'd work. I love the longer light housings for the Raptors.

That was my experience too, but I was told it would ship "today or tomorrow" 3 times over the course of a month. So I gave up. I found better ways to spend that money, for now.
Same. But it's Toyota's fault for the small opening used for the stock brake light.

I'd be willing to bet that the longer light housing would still work as long as the wiring was long enough, or elongated, to go through the OEM opening in the cab.

By the way, for anyone also interested in doing the Evil Mfg 3rd brake light camera mount, I got word from them that the ideal light housing to purchase is the one for the 2019+ Ram Model. The angles will be much closer to correct lighting-wise vs the Raptor version which would put the light pattern in the bed. This would give you 2 Baja S2 pods along with a camera in the center. They also referenced a DVR unit that would pair up nicely with the camera.

Guess I'll start saving up for another 3rd brake light fixture :frusty:

The Ram housing would fit the Tundra? Interesting.

Only thing is, I'd have to drill another set of holes but the old holes would be covered up and sealed so eh.... I'm not opposed to drilling holes in my cab considering I have cab lights.

Drilling holes ? Seesh, why can't they just fabricate a version for the 2nd Gen Tundra?

Which model of wolfbox are you running? I have the 850, and I just updated the firmware the other night. Nothing terribly noticeable with the update. I was toying with the idea of adding a camera splitter, so from an AV box I can flip cameras.

Curious @Rustedfenders why not use the license plate mount?

The camera uses a "headphone" jack mini (I need to get the spec) to see if there is a junction box that I can wire up so I can add another camera once I get a rack installed.

I hear you @texasrho83. I don't doubt that others are having that problem. Even after my modification no water (crossing fingers) has leaked through. I wonder if that leak is specific to a given year tundra or not.

The amount of swearing when taking off my 3rd brake light was no small amount. The bastard was on there and VERY tacky.

I got REAL good at taking it off. Problem isn't necessarily the housing, but the 2 small screws meant to supply enough pressure distributed evenly to keep a good seal on there.

I know when I took my 3rd brake light out, there was this gasket like component that w/o, would easily cause the issue.

Could you do me a favor and show me the camera cable that comes with the kit? Or a link to it will suffice. I didn't see that when searching.

Just saw you are a USN @texasrho83, thank you for your service bud. My pop was Navy, and I don't give a shit what anyone says about a Civvie not getting the sacrifice.

My pop certainly made it clear to me.
