It's a super easy fix and you don't have to remove them .just have the tire shop top off with nitrogen.

    Yea - no shit! :p

Sooooooo, we found a dead guy hanging.
Buddy found him and we both took the Sherriff to the body.
Not the best way to start hunting season off.

No go - I’m guessing CV limits droop?
I’m getting a solid stop that won’t allow me to pull shock end out of lower mounting pocket.
Hopefully someone can chime in and let me know which way the bushing is supposed to be turned.
Right now the concave/curved portion is to the rear, and flat/straight portion on the front end side.

Chris - I have the curved portion towards the rear - is that correct?
My driver side is installed this way (no noises).

PS - the noise it makes, is soooooo freaking annoying! LOL!
I actually had to turn around on a really
Bumpy gravel road this am hunting because the noise was so bad.
On road - no problems (well barely any).

The shock was contacting the LCA?? Somethings not right here. That shouldn't be a problem. Maybe remove that spacer for now? Maybe @Lucas7154350 has some suggestions

edit: spacer on top of the kings

Lower King shaft, upon full droop did rest against inside lower arm.
I used the grinder, took that out of the equation.
    Test driving now!

    Fawk!!!!! It’s still there!?!?
So I need limiting straps? I googled Tundra King Clunk, and there many threads on limiting straps? Are these fuckers bottoming out? I’m about to go back to TRD’s.
Not sure why all other corners are perfect though.

I’ll grab a flashlight and take a better pic.

Only passenger side “clunk” driver is perfect. I don’t see any differences between the two.

IMO, check nitrogen, makes them clunk and one being low is not uncommon. Second, remove the shims, they are bad in your application.

No accidents at all - Kings were purchased new from SQDH and I bought them from a member on here new in package. He never installed them.

Everyone said to use the shim, because cranking Kings to 2.5”-3.5” causes them to ride like garbage.

The nitrogen level is what I’m concerned with.
It honestly sounds like a blown strut/shock - but doesn’t ride on road like one.

I can pull the shim, and pull the diff drop.
I wish I had a little camera to stick in the wheel well so I could get some video while driving. Maybe my buddy would let me borrow his GoPro.

I run those CB shims on mines 2 on the driverside to level out the lean and 1 on passenger. My coilover threads are 12 on each side, I like to have those set equally instead of cocked off a few thread/s. Totally nothing wrong with my setup and it's going on about 9k miles now.

That clunk you are mentioning is starting to make me scratch my head more towards the nitrogen pressure in the shocks, but then again your axle is so damn friggin close to the lower body. Mines have adequate space on both sides and no where that close to the axle.

As for this part where I mentioned to separate the UCA from the spindle is regarding to turn the coilover collar for thread/height adjustment, not to install or remove the coilovers. How is your lower ball joint on the lower control arm area? Any damages there on the arm or anything?

Gotchya - you have to compress the coils though to turn the collar don’t ya?

A little grease coming out of lower BJ - but seems/feels fine.
