I have this on my 2018 for about 2 years now. I wired a switch to mine so I can turn it off whenever I do not want that on

I installed mine last monday from @MikeBeach

if you have a gen 2, you NEED this mod. It is a very quick and simple way to make your truck drive more like you want it to. 10 minutes to install, works every time you start the truck.

I'm going to give my feedback on mine. I have had some issues with my TC still interfering even when turned off in my tail happy RCSB which drove me crazy. In a straight line it wasn't an issue but any sideways action was halted quickly. So was definitely interested when I saw this thread.

Decided why not give this a try so placed an order and few days later my "ByeNanny" came in. This was seriously a breeze to install, took all of 15mins. Hopped in and fired her up. Didn't see any dash lights show up like the video so was like ok maybe this is normal. Went for a drive and no change bummer. Came home and said there has to be something I missed so popped my kick panel back off. Bingo the spade on my tap had wedged the outside of the female inlet DOH. Plugged it in securely this time and fired her back up... Oooh dash TC lights danced and now on.

Went for a drive once again and didn't come back for a while lol

This is one of the cheapest best mods done yet. It definitely is about Smiles per Gallon ! No more interference what so ever and couldn't be happier.
    Thanks Mike you rock :burnrubber:

I cant thank all of you guys enough that have gotten one so far. @TX210Tundra scooped up #7 for his brothers 2nd gen which is awesome; my brother drives a 2nd gen and dad a 3rd gen (all DAP tuned and not stock). @ANOMIC and @SC_TRD are getting theirs shipped tomorrow. I have parts here tomorrow for 2 more, let me know if your interested.

    Thanks
    Mike

P.S- Ive tried 2 different brands of the power taps and trying to find a heavier duty one.

I’m having the same issue with my 8inch lift on my tundra,it’s a 2016. Traction turned off but it will still engage, did this mod get rid of it completely? I’m at the point of just taking the fuse out but don’t want to cause any other problems incase this unit is a easier fix.

    thanks for any help!

With this mod, once you start your truck, the bypass is literally pressing the traction button for you until all trac removed. It’s exactly the same as pressing the button yourself-only automatic on start up.

I have been enjoying mine, well worth the coin here.

For some reason I could never get my TC fully disabled with manual adjustment. This little wizardry device accomplished it

Same, I love mine. By the time I get oil pressure/buckled up the TC is off. Nice to have the baseline be fully off and able to turn it on, than being on and not able to turn it off once you're on the road.

In those times where it's needed, it just takes a push of the button right? Then, at the next start-up, it sets itself to 'off' again?

Got it,but even when I press mine 3 times manually and truck says “traction control off” it will still activate when I take a off/on-ramp.

Stoped, yes.Waited 3-5 seconds before each press,no. I’ll try that out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up! does it matter if the trucks in neutral or park? Normally I do it in park as I let my truck warm up.

Stopped is all that matter. Park, N in gear whatever.
Press traction control button once. Auto LSD will light on dash. Then press again and hold for few seconds and VSC dash light comes on. Then press and hold for few more seconds. Traction control off will flash on dash. Now nannies are off.

With the @MikeBeach bypass you just start the truck instead :):spending:

Yeah thats what I do,I was gonna try with the 3-5 second pauses before I push again how you said earlyer..normally I just push, push again, then again and the dash says “traction control off” I do hold the button for a couple seconds till it registers all three steps..
