@DerfM I have extang trifold on mine, kind of a pain in the ass with bed extender due to tonneau cover clamps but works so I’ll leave well enough alone…I have fork mount clamps in the head of my bed for the bikes…I take my tonneau off whenever I need to which is fine however…check into the bike rack that goes over tonneau cover…do a little searching on here there’s a few guys that have them I can never find things when I search as you know lol but that would allow you to have bed extender still either way! I make it work,
    Brett

Could always go with a front hitch for the bike mount

I guess I don't see what you're talking about? Which picture? All I see is the bed rail system.

Does anyone know if this works with the 3rd gen truck? The tie down location looks pretty damn similar, but I dont know for sure.

Not sure about 2nd gen to 3rd, but they work between 1st and 2nd. I bought mine new-old stock for a 1st gen and it fit my 2018 just right.

Any chance you could post a pic of them? I currently have my 1st gen brackets on my 2018, and while they work, it's not a great fit. I'll post some pics later

Sold my bed extender a bit ago after going to a Bedslide. But, my brackets fit similar to your photo. Thought they were a little tighter though.

    >>just lift it at a 45 degree angle and it comes right off.

Please do not mention this. Someone will steal my extender LOL.

It should be tighter, judging from the others I've seen. AND it sits too low

Rear Sway bar, TRD dual exhaust, storage unit under rear seat, cargo mate, 10 spoke aftermarket 21" rims (Lexus), weather tech mates, Morimoto headlights, HR hood bar light, Chrome deleted: bulge, grille surround, valance, bumper end caps, mirrors. Replaced all parts with smoked mesquite, and L.E.D bright interior lights.
The Bed extender is a nice addition and function perfectly with small items. When folded into the bed it's great for suitcases, groceries, small mobility scooter or walker, and other items from sliding to the front of the bed. When folded onto the tailgate it's excellent for supporting large items as long as they fit under the bed cover. Most of the time I remove the extender to accommodate oversize items. Generally, the extender serve it purpose for style and conversation. Me, myself, and I would purchase the Bed Step before buying the Extender.

Not my experience. Might have had an 1/8” gap, but nothing outlandish. Elevation was spot on though.
