If I have drivability issues will drop down to the 92mm as it has the same mounting pattern.

@armyoffoo said his driving and operating is great. Hope to get it installed and do some testing. I'm limited with a tvs 1900 and stock engine but will give it a thorough beating. Haha

Well a few days late receiving the D2A but it finally was delivered today. Hope to get it installed on Monday!

Thanks to @armyoffoo the process is a little easier. You can pick Toyota in the Emulation tab as the values are already set.
"Key on > connect to PC > set Mode A to A > Set Emulation to Toyota Truck > set TB Type to Record Direct > Click Record and move the blade by hand full closed and full open(push in both directions) > Click Stop > Click Program > Disconnect PC > Key off for 30-60 seconds to clear any current faults in the vehicle ECU > key on/engine off to test throttle operation via the pedal"

Just need to pickup a 2 amp fuse. Fun tomorrow: port snout to 95mm. 95mm is about maximum I would go on the tvs1900 to heep wall and flange integrity.

That's awesome, looks like it's ready to crimp and go! I just noticed you have an extra wire I didn't have...what does the yellow wire on your D2A go to?

@armyoffoo the yellow is for an engine ground. I didnt ask but I think it's so it's not only relying on the TB ground, redundancy, as it has the 12v constant. He sends out the colored diagram so there is no confusion forToyota plugs. I have to head out into town but will get the snout ported today and mock up my TB reducer and adapter for the mounting to the snout. Wiring is pretty simple for plug and play and setting TB up on laptop.

I just had a thought, you could split the difference between an adapter plate and a fully machined snout by cutting the snout in half and welding in a new snout end/flange that is already ported to size. It'd be a somewhat extensive operation, but then the bearing, shaft, and interface geometry would remain intact and then replace as much of the actual airway geometry as possible by slicing it off. Food for thought.

@snivilous that would be perfect! I asked that in an email about welding on a new flange. Going from 4inches to 3.5-3.75 inches would have a nice transitional flow. $$$

Torque Rush emailed about the yellow ground.
"The yellow ground wire on the newest units is for extra protection against voltage transients on the 12V supply. It is not related to the actual operation of the D2A.

I do have the mating connectors now for the Toyota throttle connector."

Future kits will now come with the Toyota TB plug and the fuse tap with both 10amp and 2 amp fuse for placement in the etc slot.

I ported, gutted, the snout yesterday. I stopped a 94mm ish. I will used stacked adapter plates for snout and TB mount. I need to dress it up a bit more. I used @snivilous designed adapter, thanks!20231217_114542.jpg Wiring it up and will program. I'm outside and hope to beat the rain.

    Many on the way.
Flex-Hones work great for finishing/smoothing out ported transitions, not cheap when they get to that size, though.

Rain delay. Sucks when your garage is the woodshop...and waiting for a silicone coupler.

The 102mm is in and idling decent. Need to take it out...do an idle relearn. Still need to get a quality coupler.

Just went to the store/drive. As @armyoffoo stated shifts and idle will re-learn on its own. Although that can take forever...but as he said deleting the learned values will make it much quicker. It idles fine, shifting is lagging and taking an addition punch over 3k to get it to go, hence doing a quick delete and relearn. But when it shifts it does go very well. Quicker response than RCF.
I have the 4.5 inch intake to 4inch TB to 3.7 inch snout opening.
Grant at Torque Rush is and has been great to work with! Prompt replies to questions and troubleshooting.

That's awesome that you got it working! How do you have it wired up? That shift lag and punch when it finally gets going is exactly what mine was doing before resetting the learned values.

Nice. Could that TB be mounted rotated 180*? Looking at the pictures I have of the TVS1900 and the new TVS2650, there would be interference between the TB motor and the 2650s boost bypass actuator.

@Wynnded that TB is an older style lsa one.
There are the NW103 and 95mm that are the RCF style TB.

I drove around and went on the highway. Drove it like I stole it. Shifting is getting better. Did some feathering of throttle like you did. Major throttle response over RCF!
I do have to be careful I get into 8psi pretty quickly and hitting 12+psi. Not fun in the rain...well yeah it was.
I ran the wires by my fuel return and will mount it on rear firewall. I need to pick up a fuse block for accessories. I grabbed power off the ECT but switch to the radio for now.
Need to clean up rats nest of wires.

I tied those as well, didn't seem to have any effect. I have a Foxwell scanner that ultimately worked for me, then doing the slow 0-100% throttle pedal 3x...but hoping one of the steps above will do it. The Toyota documentation indicates there is an option, so there probably is something in Techstream.

Would love to see what your truck does on a dyno.
