Does anyone know how to make air flow more powerful coming from AC? I have an 08 Tundra double cab and AC on high fan speed is not that great. My wife's Dodge Grand Caravan medium fan speed is better than my Tundra. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
    Marc.

I've had the truck since 1-1-16 and the air flow has been like that. Just don't think they made it that strong of a blower in 2008 when the truck was new. I'm the second owner. I thought maybe a comp. Chip or a aftermarket faster blower might be the answer.

    Welcome from TX!

Our 07 AC blows blows strong. Make sure its on "Recycle" for better flow, noticeably less if not on. If you are smelling exhaust or the outside the recycle function may not be working.

My 07's fan/blower is almost too good. Gets pretty cold quick. I rarely ever have it on high let alone max cool. Same with heat. Definitely no issues here so far.

Yeah check your cabin air filter, its in the glove box. Do a youtube search on how to change it, it kind of varies year to year depending if you have the knee airbags, but its super easy to do, all you need is a screw driver.

And blower motors do tend to be an issue on these trucks, test driving a few of them I noticed a couple that made noise. Luckily they are easy to change, right under the glove box, takes like 4 screws to get them out.

Thanks all. Air filter was changed couple months back. Recycle air is turned on after air starts getting cool. Just takes forever to cool the backseat area . Windows are tinted too .looks like I'm going to look for a more powerful blower.

I've also noticed on really hot days if you drive with the windows down for a minute or two and get that stupid hot air out of the truck, it helps it cool down faster. Instead of having 130 degree baked in the sun air you are trying to cool, you now have 100 degree air from outside you are trying to cool.

Any chance on getting another minivan?

Just kidding. I would be checking into some kind of blockage. My 12 CM AC/Heat was pretty good!

I kind of get where the OP is coming from, as the A/C system in my Tundra isn't as effective as it was in my 2004 Tacoma. That truck, man you could hang meat in the summer and use it as an incinerator during the winter. Of course I think that reg cab truck A/C and heat was spec'd the same as a 4Runner for that year, so it makes sense how well it works. I've had various other cars over the years, some the A/C worked better in than others.

Rear muffler delete, replaced by Flowmaster muffler. 2 to 1 stock tailpipe location. Currently working on collecting parts to swap cab mounts for bed bounce TSB. Using titanium fasteners!
I just wanted to comment about how well my RCSB AC works. It must be because it's a regular cab, but it gets uncomfortably cold with anything more than halfway to max blue bars(dial turned left). It's a strange experience, as I tend to be very warm natured. And Houston is hot and humid this time of year.

You can run it without the cabin filter. That will increase flow guaranteed.

I know its an old thread but wondering if anyone found a good solution for this problem. Cant see how anyone could have too good of an ac in these trucks. I tested some at the dealer and had the same weak ac fans. This truck was definitely not designed for desert heat

Curious, does everyone have the dual climate that has these problems? Because my truck is ice cold. Even in some of the hottest Vegas heat. If the truck is real hot in the cab it may take a little bit to get there, but once it does, I have to have it on low or turn the temp down. Manual HVAC

Mine has dual zone knobs. Ive felt that the AC has sucked since day one of it being new. Interesting that some say it is ice cold other say it’s weak. I feel like you get almost zero cold air unless you do full blast. And i have replaced my cabin filter annually
