Being in Hawaii, I'm sure shipping is WAY different than the lower 48. And probably takes way longer.

and frustrating as well. I just experienced 2 examples. Basically warranty issues, a blood pressure cuff, chair headrest. Was informed by both companies they COULD not ship to my address being Hawaii, but if I could provide a mainland address they would readily ship replacements. Sent SIL AZ address. They shipped. I then got provided USP tracking number. SIL immediately reshipped USPS, but new postage of course. There is way too much stupidity in this world.
If I get Amazon Prime in 2 weeks I feel I’ve won the lottery.

No, but screw holes very close. I suspect cutting into rib, rib would interfere with bottom fitting and would have to be cut flush.

You shouldn't cut into rib, it won't fit if you did. There's plenty of room if you use the measurements I posted above. (Post# 24) I just finished the passenger side, took about 30 min. Both sides done! Thanks again to @Sodamo for starting this. And next time I'm in Hawaii, ill buy you a beer or 3! 20250201_131533.jpg 20250201_131542.jpg

@Raven67 what fasteners did you use? Are they just self tapping?

I just used lag bolts because I had some black ones, & a couple plastic rivets.
The lag bolts are really tight in the material the bed is made of, they worked perfectly.

I just wanted to thank Raven & Sodamo for all the help on this project. I finished mine today and now an official member of the Inbed Storage gang.
I was going to use riv-nuts but after seeing that one rib was going to make it very difficult make it work I went with #14 1 1/2 inch panhead screws with washer. I used the cutout piece to make the spacers and I made it long enough to fill the entire gap. I made 3 1 inch strips and glued them together, drilled holes to match the storage lip. Sanded the edges and hit it with a little black paint. Quite happy with the results. Once again thank for the all the help.

Got mine done today. I have the BAK Revolver 4xs which lowers the tie down rail so adjusted the measurement down by about 1 1/4 inches.

Anyone worried about water getting up into the storage compartment through the drain holes in the bottom? Not sure if water spray makes it that far up into that area between box and fender.

I have the bak revolver as well- did you have to remove the rail to get the box in?

I removed the rail for the tie downs. Probably didn't have to but then it's out of the way for cutting the hole. Only adds a few minutes to the process so I think it's worth doing.
