    Hi guys and gals,

Picking up my 17 Tundra on Saturday. Who has made the switch from the 3rd gen Tacoma to a new Tundra?

I came from the 1st and 2nd gen. I had a 3rd gen on order, but pulled the plug at the last minute when I laid eyes on my Tundra. I recently sat in my buddies 3rd gen Taco, and it immediately made me happier that I made the switch. I will always love Tacomas, but I will never be able to give up the comfort and power that I have now.

Yeah, I had the opportunity to make a 500mi road trip in one and fell in love. Still really like my Tacoma but man I loved the Tundra.

It seems like 2 or 3 dudes a day migrate here from Tacomas. Are you a member of Tacomaworld? A ton of us are active members on that site too.
You wont regret your decision. These next few days are gonna drag. Welcome from the Mojave!

@Hutchj. Thank you! Love my truck! Just had a lift done today, new shoes as well as head and tail lights replaced. I think it looks a lot better! It was my bday present to me! Will post pics tomorrow. I'm sure you are excited about your baby coming home.

@Hutchj. Yep, best bday present. First time for me to do mods on my truck and I don't know why I waited so long.....it's addicting. I already know what I want to do next!

Yeah, I want to black out my bumpers and the grill but I know that may be pretty expensive.:( It may take a few months before I do it.

They are a great for so many things, but I see a common theme of people coming over to the Tundra's for room, capacity and towing. You will really enjoy your truck, trust me. I no longer have my Tundra, and it is missed a lot that I don't jump in the truck every day and go.

From your sig I can see you needed a little more pulling power than what the Tundra offered. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Biggest thing was more room inside. Not that I need it. I literally just want it. As I mentioned, I loved the Taco, I just loved the Tundra even more. Missed a big V8 more than I thought and I am looking forward to that BADASS rear window. lol
