Got my license in a Lincoln Mark VIII. Getting the tail loose in that boat was hilarious.

1982 Nissan Pulsar (which is the same year I was born). My Dad had bought from a friend for a couple hundred bucks. The radio had been stolen out of it but it did have those fancy pop up headlights and a sunroof (that you’d have to remove and store in the trunk) This was in 1998, when I was 16.

As appreciative as I was for him giving me a car, I’ve always liked fancy shit and have always worked hard to get it. So a couple months after I got my license, I went and bought a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. That was a fun car.

I almost bought a pulsar when I was 16, but my old man found a 87 celica for me, of course I went with the Toyota. It was fun car!

1971 Toyota Corolla Station wagon, straight shift. Test in 1974. ONLY driving test I have had to take. Was young and cute then and I flirted with the instructor who was chill that I could only get to within 3' of the curb for parralllel parking. Pleased to say that my 17 year old grandaughter is being forced to drive her mom's straight shift car and her dad's huge truck [and the truck does not have cameras]

That little Toyota was a workhorse. They had a Tercel, too.
