Looks like an old hot wheels car I used to have when I was a five year old.. some people never develop past that level I guess? There's a few of those too-fast too-furious trucks rolling around up here. I passed one that was 'slammed' with 22" rims and zero ground clearance earlier this week. I don't know why you would purchase a truck then mod it to defeat the purpose of having a truck.

@mnm I am in VA too, Capital, and yes I see more and more of this. VA is funky when it comes to vehicle laws, state inspection requirements etc. so I would not be surprised if they make it illegal or that your vehicle will not pass inspection with a high reverse rake.

Lol, that truck was from a Youtuber who did that as a joke and he was pleasantly surprised at the onlooker response. Even he thought that squatted truck was ridiculous.

I've seen a lot of jokes and memes about squatted trucks but does anyone in the world actually drive one "non-ironically" and, if so, why?

I remember a lot of Tacomas on balloon tires in Maui. Don't remember the squat.

Your guess is as good as mine. Can one really justify cosmetics to someone who doesn't appreciate it? I have "Raptor" markers that people hate but I find them weirdly fitting for the look of my truck. They aren't exactly compliant with the way the marker lights have to be for oversized vehicles but it looks very uniform to me.

I could have an opinion about squatted trucks but that would make me a hypocrite. I do like hearing people's opinions for and against the style though.

Speaking of Hawaii, I once saw a solid axle 4X4 that was lifted using wood blocks between the leaf springs and the axle on Maui. This was on the front axle by the way.

Seems kinda unsafe to be driving down the road and staring at the sky…not to mention, where in the hell are the headlights pointing?! I see these trucks and SUVs all the time in South Carolina.
