You probably need to take a couple of days off and do a bunch of target shooting. :infantry::bananadead:

I didn't want to be the first one to suggest that. If it's not broken, why fix it?

lol. yea yea. its just my luck.

    here is an update.

so as i said before i called pro comp and they said they really dont have a full kit for it yet. so it went through their people and told me to bring it back saturday. i brought it back they took it for a drive. and the guy was like yea i thought it was going to throw me out it was so bumpy. he then looked down at the gauge for the airbags. he said it had way too much pressure in it. he said that it is supposed to basically sit on zero. so then i drove it and it was a big difference. he said we still going to go over it and check if there are any more little adjustments they can make. but also because i called pro comp. they will not let me take the truck back until they clear it. and of course today is sunday they are closed. monday is labor day they are closed. and it wont be until tuesday most likely. but i had ordered some bigger tires than those sort of low profiles ones that will also help with ride.

also he said he was going to hook me up on those used tires....all he did was take off 120$....so i was like yea keep them ill buy new ones....

so there is a light at the end of tunnel.

finally got it back a couple of weeks ago. everything is all peachy keen.

so just to clarify. i still basically have stock suspension but with new spindle and spacers....it was just a shit show because of the "magnetic ride" i really only miss the ability to turn from the tundra.

also still have some tundra parts...stock suspension. stock cold air, and under seat storage if anyone interested.

I looked at all the other top 3 trucks and liked them but the thing that kills me is that the seats (even in the 3/4 ton & 1 tons) are smaller than the Tundra. I LOVE the fact that my 1794 has the seat extender in the drivers seat. If you are a big guy and drive long distances the fact that your legs hang over the seat for more than 2 hours causes my legs to hurt like sitting in a small car. Why the hell wouldn't the top manufacturers in this 1/2 ton truck segment have an option that solves a problem for utility instead of putting more fluffy things in it like wifi?
This one feauture ruled out both Ford and Chevy immediately even though I liked them.
Enjoy your truck. It definitely sounds like the 2nd best choice of all of the 1/2 ton trucks ... :)

Damn thats unfortunate. I love the look of the new GMC Sierra, but the only thing that has held me back is the reliability and resale of the big 3 trucks compared to the Tundra.
Are you going to get another Tundra?

Hope it works out for you. I hate to hear about people having problems with ANY new vehicle. I also think the Sierras look really good...always have imo.

Exactly what problems have you had? Denali trucks are sweet looking, but GM has been off the reliability bandwagon for some time now.

I find myself in a similar struggle. GM is slowly getting etched out for me in a 1 ton. The struggle is between Ford and Ram diesel powered trucks.

In a 1/2 ton truck, I just do not think it gets any better than a Tundra, period. They have some issues like all manufactures have, but when is the last time you seen a 2nd or 3rd gen Tundra on a flatbed truck unless it was in a serious accident? I cannot think of a time I've seen one.

I had been looking at buying a new truck for the past few weeks and the GM 6.2 was one i was looking hard at getting. After researching (i research stuff to death), i ruled it out mainly because of transmission issues i was seeing. Especially when there were reports of some 2017 models that just came out having issues. Drove a new Tundra Platinum and brought it home instead. Sorry to hear about your troubles and hope everything gets sorted out.

Yeah, those older Fords are pretty easy to take.

Wonder if the newer trucks are similar?

Sorry for your problems with the new truck. I LOVE the look of the GMC top trim truck but was cold feet to make the jump. Hope it works out well for you.
