I hit potholes all the time, and I am over max GVWR and have never broken anything.
I could replace my whole truck for $34k, no wonder insurance companies aren't covering the damn things.

My buddy broke the hitch on his Hyundai Santa Cruz after hitting a railroad track while towing a utility trailer loaded with all his possessions when he moved to the US. It only ended up being $800 for a local shop to fix it so he didn't bother bringing it back to Canada for a warranty claim. He's planning to dump it next year before the transmission blows up anyway.

 

This comes to mind. Bet it still wasn't $34k on the jeep

Power wagon for the win. Plenty of articulation and can still tow 10k no problem

I was referring to them bending frames left and right... supposedly... There was a big event several years ago - like Tundras to Sedona - but I think Monster Energy put it on. There were some dozen raptors that came home with bent frames from hitting the same obstacle with the same zeal. Just type 'raptor bent frame' in to any search engine and you will get pages of forum threads about it. One could claim the the frames bend easy, one could claim that Raptors are more likely to be used in a manner in which frame damage could occur.. Either way, the inter webs are rife with stories.

 

My fortunate cookie was empty the other day at a restaurant. I don't know what that means, but I was quite miffed. I told them I got a faulty fortune cookie and needed to know what was next; they just stared blankly at me...
