I would (and always have) consider a Ford F-250 Diesel King Ranch edition. I grew up with diesel trucks and have a real soft spot for them. Just can't justify the $9,000 upcharge at this point.

Best of both worlds! Choose your poison on any given day. My wife has an 06 XB. When we take that out of town it’s great for gas. Sometimes, I’ll see another tundra, or the opportunity for a dirt road I’d like to go down, then I really miss my tundra.

4runner, but the switch down to a v6 would take some adjustment.

Since this is all make believe I'd go for the new $80k one. But I'd be just as happy with late 80's with the dual headlights. Or a 90's model and I really like the early 2000's too.

Rare in the US. The rest of the world they are running around everywhere. I grew up with these in South Africa - I know of many that had more than a million kilometers on the clock and they were just indestructible. Australia also have them, but they typically have flat beds on them. Lots of them in the middle east also.
    New models look like this:

1/2 ton, I'll always own a Tundra over any other.

If it wasn't going to be a tundra and price wasn't an issue... 2019 F 150 King Ranch crew max w/ a 3.0L Powerstroke. I just built one online and it was $70k.

Probably a dent side Ford F-series. But....good thing is that I don't have to trade and am probably going to end up getting a dent side here soon anyway.

For me, it starts with ". . . from my cold dead hands" but then it turns into an F250 because I'm now rich and need the towing capacity for my toys. Or, a TRD Pro if I didn't need capacity and just wanted to have a cooler Tundra, but then again I love my bench seat up front . . . I definitely would stay with something large because I'm a big dude at 6'5" 280.
