Ya I've seen that a few times. Never understood the ones who evade in general. Why jeapordize innocent persons lives?
I've been in a few pursuits that we terminated due to public safety all together. If they are not pursuing some violent felon, we terminate the pursuit and advise we are headed in the opposite direction. Last thing you want is having to explain why their family was just killed because someone ran for a minor traffic stop, warrant, etc. sometimes it's just not worth it.

I'm going to put myself through a P/T POST academy this year if it goes as planned.
After completion (34 weeks) I would like to get on as a volunteer, but in uniform and sworn...20 hours a month requirement.
This will allow me to keep my family friendly schedule and pay.

I've been a civilian volunteer for 15 years. It's about time I step it up.

Lol and thanks. I'll gladly accept that offer haha.
