I have the weather guard pack rat sliding tool box for since 2008 on my 08 tundra. And now have jobox 3 draw for my 2021.

I’ll post a build and pictures soon as I can dig them up.

I've seen the ARBs in person on other people's vehicles. They look nice, seem quality and they seem to like them.

I have the Decked drawers and like them quite a bit. I run a topper full time, the back of the truck is where the dogs ride, so it works out well. I have a bedrug on top of the decked and have a tilting fridge slide mounted. When looking at making drawers/platform or modifying an existing setup, it just because so much easier and cheaper to go with the decked system.

So I ended up making my own out of wood. It's a cubby system, accessed from the top. It's a horseshoe shape with the center channel covered with a piece of plywood when I need the full deck to sleep in or whatever. I remove that board and it perfectly fits my largest ice chest for fishing/hunting, without having to strap it down. Not as pretty as a Decked and not lockable but I garage my truck and it's pretty much only used for camping, hunting and fishing. Plus, I think this was under $100 total material costs (five yrs ago). Probably be about $130 for materials? 2x2 framing, one plywood sheet and some screws/nails for nail gun. The reason I mention is because that wood frame and board comes out very easily. Takes about 10 mins to take all my stuff out, and a minute to lift out the wood frame and stand it up in my garage if I ever need the bed depth. I have a shell/cap so that's also an issue, but removal is fairly easy. Been using it for about five years now, no issues.

Does anyone know of wheel well toolboxes or inserts that are low profile? I'm looking for something that has a small cubby fore and aft of the wheel well, with a flat top that just barely fits over the hump, and a flat side that squares everything off. I want to pair that with a full width (wheel well to wheel well) slide. Problem is, everything I can find that goes over the wheel bump also goes all the way up to the top of the bedrails. I still want to be able to platform the whole thing and have room for an air mattress below the bed rails.

Looks like the Truckvault Basecamp 2 is very similar to what I want. The drawer and deck height are taller than I was hoping, and the middle section may only accommodate a narrower slide than pictured, but I'm getting closer....
