Not to be hateful but if the deal breaker on this excellent product was the difference of 10 dollars, I'm thinking that maybe this product isn't for you.

I have a mounting location already, this will have another buy for the same price. Not a fan of paying more for something when I missed it by a few weeks. In the meantime my works, was just looking for an optional solution so I can feedback a review to my club members

My buddy installed one before KOH and he was out there all week running trails testing all his equipment including the SuperCharger. I reported back that he never had to readjust the mounts and the ICS base was a huge success

Pretty cool find, benefit to this is I could mount my phone and the wife's phone off it for when were traveling. The holes in the dash are not so bad because even if you went away from this in the future you just need a new rubber mat for that spot and its not noticeable.

I guess I am not understanding something. It is required to drill through the rubber mat? I would remove the mat and drill the holes. If you move back then put the original mat back on

Update, I've run this now since install and it has been flawless. No rattles, very minimal shakes at speed off-road( not bad enough that you couldn't read the map).
The nature of the base allows for infinite adjustability for mounting solutions and is Rock solid.

    10/10 would buy again

Got notification mine shipped. This post and the installation video they have on their site is very helpful. I will add some pics here once my setup is installed.

@deedubb, once installed the Ram components hold a burrito as securely as any electronic device. If you got a long enough mount you could eat hands free.

I think this is excellent for professionals who need a iPad size display and don’t care about the aesthetics of the installed product.

Fancy. I did the same thing but just bolted a $10 ram ball to that space. I only mount a tablet there for longer trips. Looks like you have some more positioning options than I have.

Update: (I don't get on here that often because Everytime I do I see something I "need" to spend money on)

Still working flawlessly. This paired with ram mount solutions is a home run.
I've had several trips off-road with it and in my current positioning I get zero wobble/shake.
I caught some air not too long ago with the tablet in place and had zero issues.

How necessary do you feel the undermount steel plate is? Did you install it or just do the 4 mounting bolts with no back-plates?

The plate underneath is not required but in my opinion helps with any potential problems. If you had something heavy mounted to it the plate would provide stability

I did not get an undermount plate with mine, maybe because it was the first or second production model. I used 1 inch fender washers

If you are running severe washboard roads and off roading in Moab get the plate. If you are mainly on the road and using your truck as a daily driver you do not need the plate at all.

Occasionally on a rough paved road your ram mount may vibrate enough to not be able to read a text on a phone but the plate won’t stop that vibration anyways.
