Heard that too, but Fox customer service can be poor. Take the good with the bad. Like being married:D

My last Tacoma came from the factory with remote res 5160s on the rear. They worked great when I was trying to set records on the ranch roads and out run the UTVs. I wont be doing that in my Tundra so I will stick with non-remote res. If you do some serious off roading fine get the remote res. If you are the type that just has some money top burn fine it is yours. I see people every day driving trucks that they have poured money in to that I know never leave the pavement.

Well I love to mash mine off road. Who wants a street princess, when you can have badass off road runner. The TRD Bilstein Pro suspension has been great, but on true washboard roads they really suck, especially at speed. That where I hear Kings, Fox, and ADS really shine.

If you have a lifted truck with aftermarket coil overs , don’t expect a cadallac ride. For a smooth ride but a car, got to sacrifice something , it’s a truck I don’t think people understand this

It depends on what “lift” you’re getting, I have kings all around and it’s a plush Cadillac ride on the street and smooth high speed off-road. It’s not lifted any higher than how it came from king so it’s 2” higher in the front no lift in the back. I love it, best money spent.

This question of coilovers has me thinking about the OP's question. Icon or King? A question I want to answer for myself. Now ADS and Fox have made it even more murky in my eyes.

What did the OP go with?
