I bought the truck with a lot of stuff done, it had 650lb springs that were sagging from the steel front bumper and winch but previous owner already got the 700lb eibach springs from SDHQ so I threw those on.

Wheels and tires specs and all the other info in the build thread for later referencing https://www.tundras.com/threads/blackoutt-adventure-build-fundra-the-limited-dc.55189/
    Method 701 17x8.5 0 offset
    37x12.50r17 Toyo RT

This tire size and wheel offset for sure requires body mount chop to the maximum, no mudflaps, trimming of the plastic at the rear of the front fender well, pinch weld flattened, trimmed stock or go to aftermarket front bumper, and a high caster alignment. I'm still not done with the alignment but that's more of an iterative thing for me.

I need leaf springs. The best to go with are the Alcans? Will they work with my Toytec shackles at 1.5? Wouldn't the shackles still cause wear and flattening of the Alcans? I am seeing posts to avoid OME Dakars and Icons? This post is the issue that I have. My rear bumper is 140 lbs. https://www.tundras.com/threads/drivers-side-leaf-spring-help.98375/#post-2504521

Alcan springs work fine with my 2” CB shackles.
The icon packs I used to buy time did “W”, like a recurve bow.
How effective it will be for you depends on other variables; full time, static load, for example.
The heavy bumper weight is compounded by the distance from the rear axle. There’s a formula for that leverage.
    I hope this helps

Alcan quoted me $973 for springs with 1/2 lift and using my Toytec shackles for the other 1.5 inches of lift. Thoughts? Are you happy with your Alcans? I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with Lew. Sounds like they build alot of these for the Tundras. I'm hearing these are the better choice over OME and Icon springs.

George, my experience with Alcan and my instincts would tell me you will be very happy going this route. I have never used OME so can’t speak to that. My Alcan springs have been (and I just had another look, lol) and still are, doing well.
I don’t have much faith in icon, as far as longevity, based on how fast the helper packs flattened out.
I think I already addressed toytec and Deaver.
Please let me know how it goes for you and what you decide.

Thanks. Have you had yours for a while? He said that I will love the ride too. I think I'm going to order them tomorrow.
