We are getting closer. I will have some ETA's once we get a little further in.

35 would be way to inset. 25's even are a little close

@sdhq_offroad can you tell Icon to make their Tundra wheels with correct hub size ? 110mm would be great.

The reasoning for the slightly larger hub bore is because of the wheel cap design. But even then, the hub bore isn't going to change anything if your tires have been properly installed on the wheels and the correct lug nuts are being used. We have never had an issue with the Six Speeds how they come. The hub bore may match the Tundra 110 as the center cap will probably be a screw on design like the current model.

No icon wheels are hub centric, at least that’s what they said when I called a couple months ago which I try to stay with a hub centric wheel. Not sure if icon made a HC wheel yet.

Well I saw sdhq website showed those specs and 110.0 bore. I think that is our hub bore for tundras. Which would make them hub centric

    ....

And sdhq answers before I can post so...

    What they said. Lol.

    Please elaborate.

Is it that you want less sidewall, less tire options, more expensive tires options, less comfortable drive on or off-road, or a smaller tire-to-wheel ratio which doesn’t look as good?

And if it’s that you just don’t want to buy new tires, well that’s just not a good reason to push for a dumb wheel size

Not bothered. Just don’t understand why anyone would prefer an 18” to a 17” wheel... it’s not what “I like” it’s whats a better wheel for the truck. Hence why I asked you to elaborate. Which you didn’t

Toyota also put little street tires, lots of chrome and crappy speakers among other things we all change on our trucks

I am very interested in these wheels for my truck. Can anyone confirm or deny - do the TPMS sensors from the 18 inch factory wheels work in the 17 inch wheels? I don't understand the reason why they wouldn't but I seem to recall reading a post that stated that new sensors would be required for the smaller wheel diameter. I'd like to switch to 17's; I'd just like to know if there will be an additional expense associated with the swap (new sensors and a visit to the dealership for cal). Thanks.

Lol fan boy? I actually wheel my truck and want the best options out there for performance. It’s literally a non argument that 17s are better than 18s in every way. Go ask icon why they went with 17... I’ll wait

TPMS sensors for alloy wheels are 20 degree angle, steel wheels are 40 degree

If you had the alloy wheels from factory they will work. if you had steel wheels from the factory, they will not work.
