When you have a chance, we'd love to see um. My Vector 5's came in a few days ago after only 4 weeks of waiting. Was expecting 8-10 though. Leaning towards your Toyo AT3's also or Falkens, but only 33's. My current KO's have 48,000 and still going, so I have time to decide. What'd you do to get the 35's in there? Thanks.

35’s bolted right on up, no issues. I do have an aftermarket front bumper and trimmed some of the rear plastics (ran 275/65/20 on stock wheels and suspension for a few months).

I literally just got home from picking the Vector wheels up from the shop I ordered them from.
I needed to see your post because it gave me confidence that 17's are a no issue on a Tundra. Nice, very nice.
The shop said I should have gone with 18's......WHAT??? I mentioned that a lot of folks are running 17's and it's a matter of knowing how and where to place the weights while balancing.

Not to mention that two of the four boxes were beat to hell. After inspection of each wheel I was surprised that there were no dings at all. I'm glad for you that your set up went well with no issues. Looking very nice.

Here is a side shot of my trucks and my dads (with my old methods on it). He came to town this weekend and we lifted, wheels and tires, black our badged and tinted it! Photo was taken with wide angle so the back tires look massive and the trucks look a little off

Anyone have a shot of the caliper inside the wheel? curious to know how tight it is, and if anyone has had any problems getting them balanced, etc.

Just got the go ahead from my wife to get the toytec boss 3/1.5" (didn't take much convincing, she likes a good looking truck haha). When my current tires wear out I'll either be going with a 17 or 18" wheel. I really like the looks of these, the black rhino stadium, and method 316s.

really enjoying this thread too. Lot's of good looking trucks

If it's anything like my Rebounds then there is enough room to sticks few pieces of paper between the caliper and wheel. LOL. Not enough room for standard stick on weights so you have to be very careful with placement

Holy cow. Thank you. That's tight. Anyone ever heard of that causing problems?

bump again for any input on the weights working on these wheels. Very much would like to get a set to throw on my tundra! Don't want them pre-weighted and have them not work, or have the local guys mess it up. Any tips would be great.

17in icon rebounds here. Weights just have to be very close or against the back of the wheel face to clear the brake caliper. No problems.

Thank you! So I'll grab tires and wheels separate and then have a local shop get them balanced! Thanks.

Has anyone had any problems with these wheels being lug centric instead of hub centric?

Just got the truck back and couldn’t be happier! Aloha again from Kauai, Hawaii

Just tell them to not double stack the weights and you should be fine. They have done it to me before, you will hear it prior to leaving the parking lot and know something isn't right. It will sound like a rock is stuck in the tread and clicking each rotation.

I am sorry to hear you can't get them to work for you. Something or some combination of things is working against you. I am lucky enough to have a son who is a mechanic and has the knack for wheel balancing. I get extra attention though. Most places do not have the extra time it might take to get things perfect. I pay my son to do the work but he is a perfectionist and he has a Road Force balancing machine. I hope you get this worked out those wheels and tires look nice on your Tundra.

Got these last week. After I got word they were on back order from Icon 8-12 weeks I got another shop to find them. Got them wrapped in some Grabber X3s 35x12.5. Currently no lift. Got the BMC and pushed the front inner fender forward into the bumper.3D950111-7C73-4A31-AF4A-D13455B5AC02.jpg A48B1C73-2BA1-4120-A68F-9F93EE185D70.jpg FE2E5621-E5CF-41B4-8450-417E3FE32955.jpg

Has anyone had issues with balancing? Bought my wheels/tires off Custom Offsets. After I put them on, the balancing weights immediately came off. I've had them rebalanced but still getting a steering wheel shake at speeds above 55 mph.

No trouble with my wheel are tire setup. I've got about 3000 miles on them.

Also, I'm very sensitive to wheel inbalance. I get my wheel/tire sets from Discount Tire and don't hesitate to use the free balancing when things aren't right.
