ICON 17" Six Speed Wheels Picture thread :)

Will I get in trouble looking at this wheel porn. Lol Thanks for he info guys. These wheels look great and being able to run a 35” tire that clears like this is great!

 

Anyone have the bronze ones? Hard to find pictures of them mounted on a truck on google.

I got mine (gunmetal) day before yesterday, i ordered them on December 13, took forever. There was some kind of mix up b/w where i ordered them from and Icon. I am not going to put them on until April, so it really didn't matter to me.

 

Nice! Please post pics of gunmetal wheels. Got a silver tundra. Was thinking that’s probably an the best color combo. That or black.

 

i will stick a picture up with them beside the truck to give you a idea, my truck is silver sky metallic. i went with gunmetal, i never wash my truck so they will be darker once they get some muck built up on them.

as soon as it stops raining, rained last 2 days, and again today. not that much, just enough to be a pain.

 

Yeah I used to live in OH and we got rain there that made a mess sometimes. Not so much here in southern CA. Rain is like “what is this foreign???” Lol

what size tires you going with ?

 

285/75

Ran 305/65 18 before. Wanted taller and skinnier. Hope I'm not disappointed I didn't go 35.

 

Love to see pics of the machined. I went with titanium for my white 1794. I really had a hard time deciding.

 

I also tried 285/75/17 and they rubbed. Backed down to 285/70/17 and they perfect with no trimming.

There weren't tons of pics out there, so it's pure instinct. I'm wondering how it'll be on the SSM. I think with the black lip it'll be good...

 

Any lift?

 

I have an Icon stage 6 with just a little more preload than the way it comes. I have the Icon RXT pack in the rear. The ride is amazing. I would love to go bigger but just don't want to cut and trim a new truck. That size tire came in C or E rated. I chose C because the E rated 285/65/20's on the stock wheels I had were awful. I think the combination of the 17" wheels and the C load tires made all the ride difference in the world.

 

I bet that Icon S6 has something to do with it...

 

You know not as much as you would think.. if you compare to stock suspension the Icon stage 6 set to "0" the softest is still more firm than stock. Seriously, I ran stock 20" with 2856520 BFGATKO2 -E and it was rough with the stage 6 and add a leaf. Switched the leaf pack out to the RXT leaf pack and that helped. The 17" six-speeds and the C-load tires made the biggest difference.

 

I couldn't find any pictures of the machined finish on a truck. Do you have a picture?

i thought icon advertised these wheels to fit a 315 70 17 tire with no rubbing? how much lift does the icon set up give you up front?

 

They will fit with mud flap off and front liner and skid plate trimmed
