    Glad to be wet behind the ears on this forum, lots of wisdom here...cheers to all! I just purchased 06 Ltd. Dbl Cab Tundra w/41K original and bone stock from NY, formally an 08 owner but another driver ended that. My new girl has a perfect body and interior......even after pulling her door panels!!!!! However, The undercarriage has lots of surface rust and some of the nuts and bolts are crusty and need to be ousted.
    The dealership gave me the shaft with their misrepresentation of the vehicle, but I was able to get an $8,800 refund of the $15,200 purchase price through the my credit card dispute. They were some shady dudes, but they incriminated themselves beyond the point of return.
    I really appreciate the Tundra community and look forward to the give and take found here. Basically looking to upgrade my truck to perform a couple notches above stock......but after sippin some of the kool aid found here I may go balls out like most of you. haha.

    Any thoughts on the undercarriage surface rust and treatment ?

    I posted this up in another thread but check this product out. NH Oil Undercoating. Tinted black and can be applied like fluid film. It’s oil based vs Lanolin based so it will be more resistant to wash out from water. Pic is of my old Tacoma that I sprayed.

    Yeah Darkness it’s hard to believe that it only has 41k...an old man bought it new to plow his driveway and ended up trading it in to a BMW dealership which was where I purchased it from. I’m not from NY just purchased it from there.
