And I just got an email that the truck should be there Friday!

The only hitch in the plan now is that my bank is closed until Monday. I don't think the Payoff can be done until then, and I cannot be down there that long because I have to be back to work. I might have to wait for the 7th.

 

The deal went off without a hitch. Got to see it pull into the lot, and then snapped a pic of them side by side before heading out. I'm loving it.

I was dumb and forgot my Nalgene in the Tundra. I need to email them for an address to ship my second key to. Space cadet this week.

At least he saved me money. I offered @RobertD $20 to poke Adam’s belly button and yell “Taquito Bandito says ‘Welcome to Texas, Bitch!’” An additional $5 was offered if he could have placed a KitKat wrapper on the drivers seat before Adam saw the truck.

Bittersweet for sure. It was nice to have a long goodbye, but I'm happy as hell with the Taco.

To hell with kit kat wrappers - I’d crawl into the truck buck naked from the waist down and give that seat a good dose of nut sweat.

 

It’s been so cold that I would have had to pry them out of my chest cavity. The KitKat wrapper seemed easier.

I’ve got some stuff laying around. Nothing big, well maybe, sold most of the big stuff.

OK, pics so far. Some will be repeats from elsewhere, but these are all I've got. The pics make it look way more red than it really is. It just doesn't photograph true.

 

Very generous, but I've specifically avoided the "what have you done to your taco" threads in an effort to not do anything sill. Lol

I just plan to enjoy it stock for now. Kinda glad it's snowing. I might get to try the tires out.

 

I'm short, so it's still plenty of headroom. I am a bit fat for it, so now I have motivation to say no to some stuff that keeps me fat. It's definitely different, but I swear it has way more adjustability to the power seat than the Tundra did. The lumbar is definitely better. Maybe I'm just high on that new car smell and the vapors from the Pro stitching.
