Well over the weekend 2 friends died. Separate incidents.

One had cancer, he was a great guy lost his battle. I can tell you this world is lesser of a place with him gone.

The second guy was the oldest son of my late best friend. His dad was probably the best friend I have ever had or will know. He passed away in 2003.
His son died sunday, reports at this time list his death as suicide, BUT I spoke to an officer from that town that I know and he said things don't always appear as they look, so that conclusion may change. Great now his family has to deal with this mess.

Then, some of you may remember a awhile back I made a thread about a girl friend who was told she had cancer, and then was given the all clear.
Well two weeks ago other cancer docs confirmed the first diagnosis and said yes its thyroid cancer and scheduled her surgery today. She had the surgery this morning and it went great. She has a incision on her neck that runs across the base of her neck, about 4inches. I told her hey look on the bright side here, the hard part is over, all you have to is recover, docs say it was a success you should be in the all clear and finally you have the start of a great Halloween costume there. She tried to laugh said that hurts, gave me the stare and I said I am outta here talk later.
Emotionally the last 2 weeks has been pretty tough for her, but I think once this is past she will be ok.

Me, I am like not to happy, I hate to see bad things happen to my friends, and I don't have many.
So now somehow I need to get to 2 funerals on Friday, 2 hours apart, an hours drive apart, work 9 more days before a day off and spend time with Amber keeping her spirits up from 2 hours away.

OK mini rant off. Thanks for the vent.

Thanks guys and to whoever edited my spelling error, LOL thanks.

Its all going to be good. I more than likely will not go to any funerals Friday. I have spoken with members of the respective families and all is good.
