I do not drink... I know I know, hear come the jokes, insults, etc.
The taste of alcohol is completely revolting to me.

The only "drinks" I drink are wines and on rare occasions Good quality rum with vanilla coke.

Nope. I used to not drink for years when competing. Nothing but  from me. I have a few buddies who just do not drink for one reason or another

By good quality rum do you mean Sailor Jerry? By Vanilla Coke do you mean Cherry Coke? haha I'm just messing around. I never drank anything till after I joined the Marine Corps. I was over 21 so I figured better figure out this drinking thing now. My brother only drinks beers and I only drink hard A. So no insults from me.

I follow a powerlifting program. I hit my macros 99% of the time...today well yeah I did my bench day at 2am and was just starving all day. Bad thing is tomorrow is my official weigh in day for the week so keeping my fingers crossed. I have decided that i will most likely never compete but i will get as strong as I possibly can and be the role model for my kids that I never had. I have only drank 2 times this year. That is a huge improvement for me.

Sorry for the book Sean lol.

I need to hit the lotto so i can hire a personal chef. I do the best I can by following the IIFYM macros numbers. I had a stall in weight loss for the last couple weeks but thats probably my fault. I have been painting my house for the last two weekends so there was a couple days where i ate whatever was around so i could focus on painting. Today i dropped 10g carbs and 4g fats to see if i can get back to loosing some weight. ill see what i get for a weight next saturday.

Anyway my first goal is to make it down to 205. Im at 213 now. Depending on how that goes i may shoot for a long term goal of 195. I care more about bf% then weight though.

This last Dec. I made it into the 500 club for DL. I tried a couple times since then and failed. This lead to a couple changes. First getting all my blood work done to make sure everything was where it should be, next getting on the IIFYM plan to track my diet and lastly getting off the 5/3/1 program and getting on my current one. I think it was a combination of mental blocks and my 5/3/1 app being way jacked up on my phone. Not to mention i was doing WAY to much assistance work.

Currently i just re adjusted my goals from my new years ones because of a couple issues. First my squat wasn't improving that much and it took months for me to figure out why. I was wearing powerlifting shoes and one day i realized while filming a set that the bar path was in front of my toes and thats when i realized the wedge was pushing everything forward. Ditched the shoes and fixed that problem. Squat form is dialed now. Next issue was about a month ago or so I was pulling 435 and failed on my last set for one. Tried it again got it but I felt super dizzy so I didn't go for any more. Put the bar down released the lever on my belt and passed out. Hit my head on the plates on the right side of the bar..thank god they weren't the Hex ones but regular circle's. I was only out for about 6 seconds. I lift alone at 2am so this was a bit scary since nobody was there to call if i needed medical help. I called my buddy/coach and we talked about it. Decided to eat something before lifting days. This seemed to help but I wasn't dead set that it fixed my problem. Again a couple weeks go by and i see the issue on accident while watching a set i just filmed. I was breathing great before the first rep but for some reason not breathing before any other one...Kinda like shooting on the natural respiratory pause but i was trying to hit all reps on that one. I don't do that with any other lift so it was weird. Fixed that and problem solved.

I say all that to get to the lift goals for the remainder of the year. Bench 350, Squat 450, Deadlift 550. Those goals will depend on if i have to switch my program again or not. Current one has you focus on either squat or deadlift for speed and technique. If i don't fail a lift(hit a min. of the 3 reps on the last set) for the remainder of this program that may take me close to new years and I will start the comp prep portion of it just to see what i get.

I rarely drink myself. Earlier years was a different story but now I just don't have the same affliction I used too. I'm like you, but my occasional drink is Crown & Coke...not flat diet cherry limon Tab like @Sean266
