    Been there, done that. 6 months no phone, then a crappy radio phone, so all conversations were public. 6 years like that.


    But, when @Stulloh said beats the alternative, I’m pretty sure he was refering to your comment about getting old. ;)

    My main reason for not getting an avalanche is the electronics. They looked too much like the Cadillac I had gotten out of prior to my Honda... I love the look but those sensors and lights will kill a car and a wallet.

    When we moved here from Tucson, we had a party line and a 4 digit number.
    It was really cool when you could go to town and get a phone ina color not black!
