Dpedending on how long you've had it installed and due to heat, you might notice that it takes a couple days to reshape. Park it in the direct sun for awhile if the gap is still there.

    Working on it :-)
This shows how much higher the drivers side is. I took it out to remove the plastic supports on each side (did not eliminate the gap for me) Tried to adjust height but no luck.

I don't have pics. but here's the youtube link that will take you to the point in the install video that shows them to you. There are 4, remove the one on each side that is closest to the outside ends of the hood bulge. https://youtu.be/cuMsVpeOMdA?t=4m30s

Man mine took about a week, parked in the sun to reshape back to the hood right. I never could get my driver side to level with the passenger side (it's annoying as F*@&)

Has anyone figured out a way to wire it so it works with a simple on/off seitch, and doesn't require the high beams to be on?

I just received mine. I dont have a use for the swipe feature or the drl. I just want the on/off switch to work regardless of high beams. I also dont want to tie the t taps onto my drls. I want to leave my stock headlight qir3ong 100% stock.

Ive taken apart the loom and documented what everythong does. Ill be attempting to figure out a way to make it work without the hi beams. Any pointers would be great.

Mine has done the same thing since I’ve had mine. It drives me nuts! Maybe I’ll see if I can find a way to adjust it.

I bought mine direct from NSV. I called them and they recommended to check the screws to make sure one is tighter on one side versus the other. I haven’t even messed with it since. When I cool down below 70 degrees I’ll try and adjust it.

May have to try this because mine does it too. With all of us having the same issue I'm doubtful this will fix it. I'm pretty particular about installation and it was like that in both the chrome and paint-matched hood bulge.

So I see a few of you had to move pins in the connectors. How the hell did you get them out? Is there an extraction tool I can get to remove the pins? Specifically it's the 8 PIN one that comes through the firewall. I need to swap pin 1 and 2 but can't get the pin out to move it.

You have to remove the white, plastic piece from the plug end of the pins first, then you can use a de-pin tool or small, straight pick tool on the back of them to get them out. Put it in on the underside of the back of the pin and push down gently while pulling a little on the pin. It'll come right out. It may take a few tries to find the sweet spot at first, but once you get a feel for it they are pretty easy.

I'm absolutely loving my nsv lightbar. I got mine from headlight revolution. Their install videos are fantastic.

I didnt want to t-tap into my factory headlights or to require them to only work when high beams were on, so i wired mine to just be a simple on/off operation. I dont have strobe, swipe, drl, or any flashing when i lock/unlock my truck. My light bar is either on, or off, regardless of high beams. Ill be posting a video of my install soon.

Just purchased a new 2018 Platinum this week and am new to the forum. Lots of new mods on the to do list. Will likely buy the NSV hood light bar but am wondering is anyone has swapped out the red switches or knows who is the manufacturer of the switches. Love the clean look of the NSV panel but would like to have black switches that match the Tundra interior. Thanks!!

What other must have mods do I 'need"? :)

Welcome to the forum. The switch for the NSV are made by NSV. The switches have a cover plate that has a hinge on top. So you can flip the cover plate down to cover the switches from being pushed. You can easily spray the covers over the switches black or spray them with plasti-dip.

    Photo with switch covers down.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. Are the covers removable to make painting easier? The other switches you have in the picture are custom printed right?

I’m not sure how easy or if you can remove the switch covers. I would just mask off the main switches and paint the covers before you install it in the truck. Yes my other switches are custom done. You can order them from otrattw.com

I recommend headlight revolution's interior led kit, as well as led headlight bulbs, reverse lights, and cargo lights. Those mad e a juge difference to my truck.

I acquired my 2015 tundra in June of this year and it came with a light bar and it was hard wired with my low beams, until today I’ve not been told anything as it is just accent like LEDs in the daytime running lights the officer told me it was illegal. Does your bar run when your headlights are on ? Also lol sorry an off topic post within another post I just didn’t know if people would understand my post haha

I contacted Headlight Revolution if they had instructions on how to connect with a SP. They didn’t and referred me to this forum. Funny thing is before buying the bar i asked them if it worked with the SP and they said it did.

I’m sure you can wire it to the switch pro. My first thoughts is you will need to take the main lead connections that typically get crimped onto the high beam wire and drl wire and run them to a constant power or accessory power lead. Then your wires that are currently going to your switches will need to go to the switch pro connection block in the engine Bay Area. Have you called Switch Pro yet?

I have an sPOD unit and they explained how I could wire my Adapt 50” directly into the switch if I wanted to. So I’m sure there is a way.

Yes, it would have required cutting the harness and using the attached switches was easier, so I went that route for now. The swipe function is more of a cool factor. The DRL & high's are useful.
