Thank you for the welcome, and I will be sure to enjoy the truck and the company here.

    Got it.

NO 35s, I promise. Why go with puny 35s and bitch about MPG when I can add 37s and go hysterical over MPG?

The "MAX" is a cut and paste error on their website design for a non-hybrid Tundra. While I think it should be corrected, the parts that matter correctly display the features/ specs of the iForce v iForce MAX. Don't ever blindly believe a salesperson. They'll tell you what you want to hear. Most have no idea what they're talking about.

Enjoy your truck. I feel that given some time driving it, you will no longer think it was a wast of money.
There are many other things that could be considered a wast of money.

I get it. No one wants to wast money.

Nope. I get about 18 around town, and 11 or so when towing my trailer.

I assume the non-hybrids get about the same. Although they have the crappy start/stop system. And an alternator. Glad I don't have either of those. :)

I'm sure you'll be fine. FTR the Tundra implementation of it is WAY better than the Stellantis/GM versions.

I have the same truck but in Smoked Mesquite. 2.5 K on it and 0 issues other than has milage not what I had hoped. Not worried about it, still breaking in I hope. I tinted the front windows to match the rears amd added an inexpensive bed cover. It's a great truck and I think you'll be happy with it.

Just read through this whole thread. Ah the good fun days before the recall. LOL

OP you will love the truck. I’m nearing my one month anniversary and enjoying it more everyday.

ABOUT the Iforce Max…..several posters presented evidence describing what a force Max truck is, however none have refuted your claim, which was your model is literally named Iforce max, and you are 100% right! In a court of law you win lol

Congrats on the new truck! I love mine and have had just one issue with the front air damn not working correctly. My dealer replaced the motor in it and no problems after that. Nearing 30,000 miles soon in just over seven months.

I'll be interested in seeing if your dealer tries to charge you for the I Force Max engine when you go and do the paperwork.

Talk about an old man behaving like a kid waiting for the long-promised trip to Disney! :D

The truck is not here, but I have everything ready to go:

Bed mat, tailgate mat, winter mats, phone mount, windshield shades, window vents.

Important: Blackstone dipstick vacuum extractor, six prepaid samples to send in, even a Carista (thanks to @Coronerrpm starting a pass-it-on)

And then there is a long list of things to come ... ...

Yes, yes, call me stupid. :D

Congrats on your truck. Also don't forget to look under the Back seat, if you have no storage, it is a Hybrid.
Living in N.Y you should think about getting some kind of CATT covers, before someone helps themselves to your CATT's.
I checked at the Dealer here in GA. and they said that it would cost between 5K or 8K to repair them!
I got this for my truck.

The second picture was driving back home to Georgia from Texas where I brought my truck.

I am pretty sure it is not the hybrid, and I almost got the Mesquite, but the one I finally chose is Silver.

The cat covers are a good idea, but I may get bigger skid plates as an alternative.

When I was at the dealer yesterday trying to find an iForce Max with the power steps and AVS/ air system, the salesman showed me a truck with the right package, but it was not iForce Max. I took one look at the engine HP and pointed out to him that this does not have turbo. He was not sure.

It really makes me sad when dealers do not have sales people that know more about what they are selling than I do. This seems to be common among all the dealers I have visited while trying to figure out which truck suited my needs best...

They prioritize sales that can manipulate customers into paying outrageous prices for vehicles, added fees and huge markups on paint protection and Nitrogen in tires. If they can get you to put a lift and giant tires on it, genius!

To be fair, he probably was confused...... All Gen 3 Tundras (2022+) all have turbos. Can't get one without. They all have the 3.4l turbo-charged v6. The iforce-max adds the hybrid system which is an electric motor between the engine and transmission. The hybrid system is there for increased HP and torque.

My hope when I speak with a salesman about THEIR products, is the they will clear up MY confusion, not the other way around...

Apparently, engines from 04/24 onwards have different part numbers for the No. 1 and No. 4 bearings.
