    That’s a good question.
Can’t seem to find the answer in any install vids.

I just got it primed and painted yesterday (25th). Apparently today is some family gathering where I do dishes later and eat food, so today is out ( I mean, I could be in the driveway but I would get mean looks).

You can always let the family help mount it.

    They’ll certainly understand, right?:rimshot:

That's why I went hoop less on my c4

EDIT: Actually emailed C4 and had them ad the tall hoop since I changed out grilles.

I was wondering the same thing at first. You can access it from the top of the bumper as they have made a cutout just for this. @dorton or @PNW Tundra may be able to post some pics of this.BA812FC3-60AB-478F-BC37-2A370224F8CC.jpg

They have not released it yet. If you look up the CBI tundra build on YouTube you can see pics of the prototype and it is going to have the BSM function as well.

    Thanks for this!

I was able to answer a few of my questions fishing through their post.

Easy install with no adjustment to power steering cooler.

    Looks like it.

    I see that.
    Nice looking bumper.
Wonder when release date is and price point?

Last time I spoke with CBI they were making sure all of the BSM functions were working properly and tweaking a few things before they released it .

The spot you have circled is for the BSM function. This is a plastic insert for it to work properly. Maybe one day Toyota will put this function in the taillight.

    I was curious about that.
Does look like a good insert spot.

I just wish it had a step of some sort.

It’s hard to see but I like the plate on top like the rough country.
    It’s grippy.

    Something else I noticed.

The CBI is slightly wider than the C4.

The C4 bumper lines up with factory fender lines...

    DCA191F7-AFB8-41ED-AE9D-B9F78394CA14.jpg

Whereas the CBI lines up better with flares or wider fenders.

I currently have flares and will have them until I do fiberglass at some point.

Has anyone had luck with the CBI hoop providing clearance for the SR5 grille TSS sensor? I was leaning towards C4 with the hoop option until I saw it directly blocks the TSS sensor. I'd rather not tack on additional hundreds of dollars for a PRO grille if not necessary.

It blocked mine. I was expecting to go with the pro grille in the future anyways, so I had to move that purchase up the list. When I ordered mine over a year ago they asked if I wanted a low front bar, but they couldnt gaurantee that the sensor would still work with it.

In my experience after I lifted my truck I started having some quirks with TSS. After lowering the sensor by using the pro grille, it has been rock solid just like before the lift.

And the C4 does stick out a bit. Dont mind the gap between the grill and bumper, you can adjust it up as high as you want. I run a large gap cause the frame flexes so much on these trucks that I didnt like the sound of grill to bumper contact while wheeling.

I didnt realize it either until a few minutes ago. I think since I painted mine black, when you stand back it blends into the tires and you cant tell.
