went and got my first toyota. 2017 Toyota Tundra crewmax limited 4x4. Blazing blue pearl. I have been looking at a lot of post about lift kits and leveling kits. I’m wanting to put a lift on mine but not sure what I want. I have kids so I don’t want anything that’s going to be hard for them to get in and out of.

    Welcome from northern Maryland :hattip:

2” in front will get front end level with the rear- many ways to do it depending on your budget and if you want to “off-road”

Budget= 2” aluminum spacer blocks in between the front coil spring and spring perch
I purchased a set for $40 online and installed myself in an hour or two- mine is temporarily in till I wear out current tires that I got from dealer wheel tire combo.

most on here hate blocks- not good if u want to “off-road” - which I’m not doing right now with my 1st new truck ever!!

Moderation lift= replacing front shocks and or coil springs with bilstine 5100 or 6112 which can get u max 2-3.5” of front lift then use block, shackles or add a leaf / new springs in rear most on here call it 3/1- 3/2 lift - u can run 35” tires with this setup depending on wheel offset -width etc.

Congrats and good luck with Tundra

Welcome from NC!! If you lift it and it is too tall for them, welp now I guess you “need” sliders for them :hattip::hattip:

I just picked up a 20129 with a 3.5 lift. Came with steps so my wife has no idea it is taller than my last truck.;) As for the kids, just give them a hand up for a bit.

Welcome from sunny AZ. Installed a Toytec 3" front, 1"rear lift/level fit and it sits nearly level. Talked to the dealer and they mentioned any lift/level kits greater than 3" may screw up the safety sensors. Also with the 3" lift/level, I did install N-Fab 4" podium side steps or easier access for my wife who is 5'-3".

So I went to go get some rain guards for my truck and they said crew cab or extended crew cab. I said a crew max. So what is the crew max Considered considered a crew cab or extended crew cab ?
