Hypertech’s Interceptor is a smart technology design that works with today’s generation of complex engine computers. The Interceptor easily mounts under the hood of a vehicle and plugs into the factory harness to constantly monitor the vehicle’s functions. The Interceptor then automatically recalculates the factory’s computer performance calibrations with legendary Hypertech Power Tuning. This means more horsepower and torque, quicker acceleration, better driveability, and improved MPG.

Used on my 2016 Platinum for 3 weeks. Not exactly what I was looking for but it does work very well. Adds 12-17 hp and 18-23 ft lbs. of torque. The only programmer to be able to circumvent the Tundra ECU. Increased power, increased fuel mileage. Disc included in order to update the system to be better compatible with aftermarket cold air intakes.

I am going a different direction with headers, mid pipes and duals.

Premium is not required but increases performance.
