If you have a rubber fur attachment for your vacuum it isnt hell, but it isnt easy. Its worth having your pups around though, just drape a cloth to your seats and you'll be ok.

Thanks for the advice. They love to ride and I hate to vacuum so something's gotta give!

Deal with the hair. I have a Husky and an Aussie. Hair all over the truck but then again I actually use my truck offroad so of having my rig dented, dirty, and scratched doesn't bother me than hair everywhere is the least of my concerns.

Your truck can only stay clean for so long if you're going to actually use it, too. I have one of those "hammock" car seat covers for the whole back row and it does a great job of keeping general dirt (eg. rocks and sand) from the dogs contained inside it but hair flies everywhere whenever I open the window.

The dogs are more precious than a truck and it's more worth it to have them along for rides and adventures than not just to have a clean truck.

I have one of those hammock things for the back seat as well. It's great. Easy to put in/take out, when it gets dirty I throw it in the washer then let it hang dry. When I get home I'll see what brand it is then edit this.

    Mine is called 4Knines. Amazon.

My Husky hates the hammock and when i put her in the truck bed she hangs onto the bedside with her claws. Now she just rides in the back seat and I just use a shop vac to clean it out.

My lab doesn't shed a whole lot, but whenever he gets in the pickup I put the $20 Walmart cover over the backseat.

Husky in truck don't really mix. I had fur all over my truck with I take my husky out but my mobile car wash guy always clean it so well.
