Brought us some badass modding weather. Overcast with only a spatter of rain. Woohoo

Nice rides! We received a bit of wind and lots of rain but nothing real serious in my area at least. I still have electricity. No pics of my truck as it's sitting at a body shop waiting on an insurance decision on whether to fix it or not.

Glad to hear you’re doing ok bud. News shows some heavily hit parts in Mandeville but it also said the levees are holding. HUGE props for the improvements LA made over there!

    What’s wrong with the truck?

I love the look of your property too. Looks quiet and private. :)

Yes, I'm in Louisiana. NW part. Got my front camera installed yesterday. It was gawd aweful. Barry showed his ass. /sarcasm.

Going to put in right side camera today if it doesn't start misting too much. Lol. Frigging weathermen. They have no incentive whatsoever to tell you the truth!

Pray for me. The eye will be passing over in another couple of of hours.

Don't like our governor too much, but he just slammed the Washington Post on Twitter for pushing bullshit headlines. (ie. FAKE NEWS) about Barry.

Thanks! We live in an old golf course community with lots of old trees and growth. Pretty sure we are the youngest people on our street.

July 5th I was t-boned by a nurse who just got off of a 12 hour rotation and I think fell asleep. She ran the red, I was turning on a protected green.

I have been pretty pleased with our governor. On Thursday, he encouraged everyone to pray for the state also stating that he believes in the power of prayer. I thank God that Barry wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

WTF? Who the hell deleted my post? There wasn't a damn thing political or religious in it. And yes I saw where the thread was locked and apparently cleansed. Restore my post. There was nothing wrong with it.

There was a post about how it never rained. And said talked bad about meteorologists comparing them to Bigfoot hunters and keeping their jobs despite being wrong most of the time.

I live in SouthWest Louisiana and am just grateful we didn't catch that much. I'll take a scare over a hurricane any day. People getting cocky lately about the storm around here. Must not have been here for Rita or some of the others that threw some bad storm surges and winds here.FB_IMG_1563073779400.jpg

More pics of what transpired. We haven’t finished it up yet - by 2AM a mosquito invasion, case of beer downed, and some “minor” Jack Daniels consumption caused us to call it a day
