How the heck can I turn off the beeping when unlocking the doors with the FOB in a 2017 Limited 4x4?
You can turn off the light flash from the multimedia system settings, but not the door beeps.
Any ideas, other than taking it back to the dealer?
    TIA

The "beeper" on my 07 is hidden behind upper bumper fascia. Disconnect=no sound.

You can also use Techstream or Dealer to turn it off (at least on the 2016 Tundra). This is described in the 2016 Owners Manual in "Customization" on page 545 under Wireless remote control. I turned mine off using Techstream along with the seat belt buzzer.

The beeping mechanism is behind and below the drivers side headlight. Little brown plastic piece about the size of a half dollar

Mine quit working after hitting a pole. I saw it dangling below my headlight. Popped loose. Plugged it back in to get the beep back. Not the best way to find out.

    Some suspension tweaks
I wrapped the squeaker in my '06 with electrical tape. It stifled the beep but didn't mute it completely- I still wanted the feedback when I was close to the truck. I haven't messed with my '15.

I suppose you might locate quite a few parts that way. Possibly scattered over several 100' of road.

Old Man Emu suspension. Brute Force Fab front bumper, rear dual high clearance rear bumper, sliders and headache rack.
Thanks for this tip, I checked my 2017 manual and it's in the same place.
