Anyone know what the rail time is from Texas to Massachusetts? Is it 3 weeks or longer?

I’d say probably 2-3 weeks. It took just over 2 weeks for my truck up to MT, should be on a truck over to eastern Washington as we speak. Should be here Monday!

What Eastern Washington dealer are you using? I'm working with Automation in Spokane Valley. Mine was built 5/26

Larry H Miller (now Findlay) I had a bad experience buying my wife’s RAV4 from Autonation.

My truck was built 4/13 and sat in San Antonio until 5/17 when it was finally shipped.

Sorry about the bad experience man. Why does it take so long to ship? Were there QC holds? My salesman told me to expect mine late this month or early next month.

No QC hold as far as I know. No idea why it sat there. Hopefully yours doesn’t go through the same thing.

Congratulations! Awesome news to see you finally got it. Seems hit or miss for us in PNW on shipping times. Looks like yours sat in TX for a month before it was put on a train. Mine was built 4/29 and still has yet to be loaded on a train. I'm really hoping it ships sometime this week. And then looks like right around 3 weeks after it is loaded to the train for actual delivery to the dealership.

Also, love the army green. Looks fantastic

Congratulations!!! That looks like a familiar place next to I90. Good to see the inland PNW region has movement, however slow it is haha, they will eventually get here.

Whew. My hybrid was built yesterday and is in F status now!

I got really lucky and called a bunch of dealers asking if they had hybrids on allocation. It seemed like I called right after Toyota confirmed/allocated one to every dealer. I found a dealer within an hour drive doing MSRP that had one unspoken for. Built yesterday and all goes well I'll have it in a month give or take...? Not my preferred color but I've been holding off on a new vehicle for this generation for a few years now.

Hi, new to this Tundra forum!
Glad to see a bunch of obsessive folks like myself, lol. It'll be nice to track my truck! I put a deposit down at the end of January and my "specs" were "Iforce Max, short bed, any white, pano moon roof"
June 3rd I finally get the call for an allocation, build date apparently is 8/1. This wait has been crazy, but at least I can obsessively check this!

    Couple of things:

    - Any chance your truck was built? If so you'll need the permanent VIN.
    - Are you in the southeast US region? If so, this method doesn't work.

Never knew the build date or ay of the various "G", "F", etc. statuses. When I posted my VIN here a week or so back, it wasn't showing up in the system for some reason. Could this have been due to it being a Southeast Toyota vehicle? Anyway, on 5/7 it was 26 days out according to the dealer and it arrived on 6/3.

It is the iForceMax (Hybrid). It has the Advanced package with power running boards & power bed step, Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system, and Load-leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension.

So far I am very happy with it!

In case anyone is wondering, I've been babying it and have only driven it 5-6 times since Friday. Over the last 50 miles, I am averaging 19.5 mpg. After the break-in period, maybe around 1,000 miles, I think I should be able to drive it without hypermiling it and see similar mpg. My goal was to average 18-19mpg with just me driving and no towing.

Been waiting since the beginning of April... Dealer has been telling me that the truck is on a rail car for a while but I don't know when it actually got shipped. Using the method described in this thread it does show it's in the "F" state. Is there a way for me to see when it was loaded on the rail car?

I was originally told it would arrive mid-May... then mid-June... now "hopefully this month". Frustrating as I know the dealer can't do anything about it being shipped but it seems like everyone in my situation is just grasping at straws trying to find out where the truck is.

Really the only thing the dealer can do is see when it got loaded on the train and where the train is going. How long that takes is just a guesstimate unfortunately.

which I get. It really makes me want to asks for a price change but don’t know if that would make me a complete a**hole. I had to put down a $1000 deposit and was told mid-May at the latest. I had to pay a small markup and drive an hour and a half for the trade in as well as back up there to pick up the truck when it arrives. Should I consider asking to waive or alter the markup?

You can certainly try but at the end of the day they aren’t in control of the manufacturing or delivery of the vehicle. As much as I dislike some dealerships and salesmen for being scum certain things are just outside of their control. They shouldn’t have given you a definite timeline or at the least should have been upfront about the possible delays.

Just curious - which state are you in? I have a build last week of April that hit the rail May 4th coming to the central atlantic region/Maryland and then trucking down to VA.....similiar scenario - its on the rail but no other details or way to tell, so just trying to gather info via what others are experiencing.

so my dealer sent me the screenshot of the tracking on their computer . As far as I know all Toyota dealers would be looking at the same thing so I can’t see why you can’t get the same . Above the tracking part where it says San Antonio to East Brookfield well if you carry along there’s an rail car I’d . Mine is TTGX971379 . I googled it and found out it was for a CSX train. I then followed the instructions from another thread about tracking which I attached and found out the train car that was carrying my tundra was empty as of June 6 and it’s in Indiana so I’m hoping it got put on another train to MA. So if you get that screenshot from your dealer then you’ll have a better idea
