Nice! If your dealer doesn't reach out with a permanent VIN you should be able to find it in a few days on their website.

Spoke to my salesperson yesterday. She informed me the site is starting to show ETAs and other info now. Looks like there were a number of trucks lost in the system due to the hack that are starting to get moved again. She said my truck will be on the train to Silver Bow June 11th then a couple of weeks to the dealership. I guess they have a few options that get installed at the rail yard. So she has an ETA of June 30ish. Seems like the hack affected the Portland region the most. It's nice to have this forum to escape the "first world problems" and not be continuously reminded of them. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

That is great information. Seems like I am an unfortunate one who's truck has been stuck in "Processing" since being built on 4/29. Blows my mind hearing others who have a build date, and then the rail departure 2 days later, while others wait over a month for their trucks to hit the rail. Hopefully I'll have an update on mine soon and it can get back on track.

I think I’m in the same boat. “A” status hasn’t changed a day since allocation

Where can you see this? When I look mine still says A but dealer told me it was built on 5/21.

Final vin. Dealer status shows A still on the tracker and the ETA had been deleted since I started looking

I've had my real VIN for a while now. The truck was actually built March 30th

What’s super weird is mine shows “F” status, but I don’t think that’s true. Since it never got on the rail I think it is still A even though it was finished being built 4/29. I am all sorts of confused about what to think.

@saleen079 man, I would refresh my emails waiting for the dealer every three seconds if I was you. That’s a long wait after the truck has been built!

You have to ask your dealer for a printout of their system. The method originally posted will show a status of “A” for assembly or “F” for freight or “G” for ground - but to get details of processing and actual rail departure dates the dealer has to look that up.

I kept the site up and refreshed continuously for days after she told me it was on hold. I am getting a little stressed though since we're leaving at the end of July for that year long trip and I need that/A truck to move the camper. Fortunately my salesperson told me she would send someone to move it, if for some reason the truck didn't make it on time, but she seemed certain it would be here by the end of the month. I really am impressed with Roger's Toyota. They have been amazing to work with on my trades and everything else. She even went ahead and placed the order for my TRD air filters so I would have em when the truck comes in.

@philly215 your dealer should be able to access that and send you a screen shot.

@saleen079 I'm in the same boat. Built March 28th. On the rail March 31st. It sat in Seattle since the beginning of April on QC hold.
Good news is, it just left and arrive at the Portland Port on the 31st of May. I only live 30 mins from there.
Even more bad news after speaking to my inventory manager. He says it's on hold due to a recall now. It's the shitty "Mardi Gras" recall. I have no clue why that would delay it even further. Seeing as how the fix is a simple update that takes 45 mins. Toyota has instructed dealers to install the update for every truck at the dealership.

Just ship the truck already and don't let 45 mins of work delay my truck another couple of weeks. I have to move my brand new camper as well. I have 3 weeks to get it here before I have to figure something else out.

As moonrover said, it’s a program only dealers have access to.

    well, this is neat.
My dealer contacted me - my truck is there and ready for pickup. VIN, however, still shows as "dealer hold" (same as it has for over 2 months)

I wander if yours in in the same VIN range as mine. The dealer told me the QC hold was for a certain range, this was before the hack.

@Dark My VIN is NX024560, so we're probably in the same range. I'll call my dealership tomorrow and see if they've heard of the 2nd QC hold.

Got the call this evening that my truck has been delivered to the dealer and I'll be picking up tomorrow. Just to re-hash my timeline in hopes it will help out some others:

    Build Date: 5/10
    Train departure: 5/11
    Train arrival: 5/31 (in MD)
    Unloaded from train: 6/1
Arrival at dealer: 6/3 (in PA)

It does show "G" in the method described in this thread as well. And as for the "dealer hold" field, I'd ignore that as every screenshot I've seen has said that. I don't think it has anything to do with QC.

Finallyyyy making some progress. 1794 long bed with TRD Offroad package. Absolutely zero had been allocated to Central Atlantic (I'm in VA) since production began - every 1794 had Advanced Package. Had to jump through a ridiculous amount of hoops to make it happen, culminating in tracking down the Central Atlantic Region guy in charge. 6 months, deposits at two dealers and contact with a third, nonstop busting everyone's chops, selling my old truck this past Tuesday and driving a 08 2wd standard cab tacoma since then, later....

    Deposit date: 12-15-21
    (Not guaranteed) allocation date: 3-30-22
    Actual allocation date: 4-22-22
    Build date: 5-20-22
    Rail depart: 6-1-22

    Getting close!

How long before the temp VIN shows any info? I placed a deposit the end of April and I don’t see any info.
