What trim and options did you get? Are you in northern Utah or down in St George?

 

Anyone ever have theirs switch to “F” and then kick back over to “A” status a week later?

Salt lake, I originally order a limited trd off-road crew in March. But the dealer called me a month ago and said there was a SR5 TRD off-road in there allotment coming sooner with a 5/17 build date. So I switched my deposit to that truck.

 

To those that purchased through South East Toyota the tracking doesn't work that was shown in this thread at the moment. best thing i found was this link to the south east Toyota distributer website ( https://explore.setbuyatoyota.com/t...5&series=tundra&sortby=msrp&sortdirection=asc )
if you search the inventory narrow it down to the spec of Ur truck and you can verify Ur vin and it shows an 'Available date". Hope this helps

 

well you can never apply what applies to toyota usa to either SET or GST. remember hey do NOT follow toyota usa rules.

 

I Know but the link i provided is strictly for SE Toyota thats the only place i could find mine and my available date just happened to be the day my truck showed up a few days ago. so its relatively accurate. I couldn't track mine like this thread shows and i couldn't find it by vin on the official Toyota inventory page. but i was in luck with the SE Toyota page. i hope it helps some people here because it was frustrating having no info from my dealer.

 

So I was able to track my TUNDRA up until yesterday via the link provided. My build date was today. Does anyone know why it would not work and or has this happened to anyone else?

 

You need to reach out and get ur post build VIN number

 

Better than I expected. The powertrain is phenomenal. Instant power when I need it and plenty of it.

The stock JBL stereo sounds really good.

I had the piped in sound on my raptor, this sounds better and is very aggressive sounding. I know a lot of people ( including my wife) think it’s absurd, but I do like it. I have read somewhere you can have the dealer disable it if you want. I bet most who own it will get used to it and enjoy it.

The orange is definitely an attention getter which is not always a good thing but I do enjoy the color.

Overall, worth the wait and a great truck all around.

Im not saying this is the most accurate technique but for me it was right on the money and its better than not having anything to go off of. hope it helps whoever needs it!

 

My Tundra has been in the "F" state for over 3 weeks. Is this normal? I haven't heard anything else from my dealer about delivery either so I don't know if they truly know what is going on either.

 

I’m in the same boat. I was told it left the factory on 5/5 and is on a train. I’ve gotten asked for updates a couple times and still all they know is it’s on a train

 

Could I get some assistance tracking 5TFMA5AB8NX009247? The dealer only has access to a basic numerical countdown and I can’t seem to get this method working. I had a temp VIN, this is the permanent one. Thanks!

 

I wasn't able to get it to pull up on my end either. Just says that the page is not found.

 

That's exactly what I'm being told too. Surely they're not putting these $70k trucks on train and leaving them for 3+ weeks right?

 

Still waiting over here. Should I be pissed? Lol Build date 3/28 and on the train 3/31......

they’re probably unloaded them at port and just storing them in a lot there waiting on accessories to be added and trucks available to deliver.

 

Mine just moved to G status. What were peoples time to pickup after it hit G status?

 

Yeah, its kind of lame man. It says it's been in the Seattle rail yard since April 2nd. On top of that, I've seen the price change on the dealers website twice now. What the fuck am I supposed to think? I just want the truck man.

 

Mine just hit g status as well.....hope im a week or less out....curious how long from going g status to dealer everyone was

 

You should have been able to lock the price in when it was allocated

 

Mine just changed last night from F to G....Does this mean it should be in this week?

 

mine switch from f to g at some point last night, and just got a call from the dealer that it's on the lot and they're getting it prepped and will be ready in an hour.
