How to: Track your Tundra at the Factory

I had a 1974 that was scheduled to be delivered between 4-25 and 4-30 the ETA disappeared last night. The dealer emailed me today saying it was under a QC hold Under Study check back every Friday after 12pm. Vehicle delayed for 30 days - ETA unavailable. Not sure hat the issue(s) are but I had been waiting a very long time.

 

I have a 1794 that was built on 4/19. The code switched to “F” but the eta has remained blank since.

 

Mine was built 3/14

 

Same thing happened to our Highlander, was supposed to be delivered on 4/7 but was put on QC hold and remained on "F" status. Dealer told me that the hold was removed on Monday but no ETA on the delivery. I did check the status on it yesterday and it switched to "G" so I'm hoping it will be here by the weekend.

 

Nope, just checked right now, still not populated. A sales contact at Toyota that has been helping me look up my truck in dealerdaily said this:

 

Thank you for sharing! My dealer said there is a problem with the system too but didn’t provide that level of detail. Wow. Go figure it’s when mine is on its way.

 

Thanks for the insight. Hopefully this explains why my truck hasn’t shifted to “G” status, as it was supposed to arrive by rail on 4/25 with an estimated arrival to dealer 4/26-5/1.

 

Same thing happened to me this morning. Had an ETA of 05/03 - 05/08 but now it is blank and the dealer no longer knows the status as well.

 

Picked my truck up this morning. Bought and installed the running boards as soon as I got home. Loving this truck for sure. Worth the wait.

 

We got our Highlander! Went to "G" status yesterday and we got the call today

 

Yeah. Not much luck here with getting to the tracking info. Guess I’ll just wing it ツ

 

My dealerCategory went to G this morning. Does that mean it is on the truck or that it is actually at the dealer. Havent gotten any information from the dealer yet.

 

Based on what I've seen on here, this usually means you'll be getting a call within 24 hours saying it's ready.

 

My Tundra went from A and temp VIN to a permanent VIN and "F" today but there is no "eta" field. Hopefully that will appear soon!

 

My truck is stuck in “F” status. Was supposed to arrive on rail 4/25. I checked with my salesman yesterday and his tracking now doesn’t even show an arrival eta when it perviously said 4/26-5/1.

 

Mine was 4/19-4/25. Showed up at the dealer 4/26 and available for pickup 4/27.

Apparently Toyota has to reflash the CPU on most of their models your truck will probably be ready in two weeks. Guess there is a huge list of cars affected

 

Just wanted to update this for others. dealerCategory went to G this morning and dealer called around noon today and said the truck just came in and sent some pictures over.

 

Thanks for answering my question before I could ask it My dealer says "it's built and on the way, maybe mid-May".

UPDATE: new vin is 5TFLA5DB2NX028593 but the link is still not working i just wanna know when it will be here or if its on QC hold aswell

Does anyone else get “page you are looking for is not found!”

 

Ok. My trucks ETA was 27APR. Now I'm on QC hold! My question, how long of a delay has this made for people that have been on QC hold and already gotten their trucks? I know it says 30 days, but I was hoping it would be sooner than that.

 

yeah thats why i was asking for somone to track my VIN just says error 404 page not found sadly

 

Well, my truck still says F with eta dates from 5/2 - 5/7 but guess what it just showed up at the dealer!

 

My ETA was 4-30 to 5-5 but now disappeared and is still on F. It's like I'm at my mother-in-laws; Every minute feels like an eternity.
