    If you come down in February, they're doing an annual trash pickup on Padre Island National Seashore (PINS). Best part is it's 4WD only so most of your usual beach crowd doesn't go back there. Last year they hauled in over 30 tons of trash. Volunteers have fees waived.

    Does this trash pick up happen every February? Something for me to think about. My grandson has two Uncles in Victoria. I passed thru there in 04. I'd like to head back down that way again.
