So I'm trying to Install my retros. I'm a complete newbie to trucks and installs. I'm trying to wire up the led to fuse box. The 10A is small to fit inside of the adapter. Do I need to go buy long 10A fuse to fit in replacement?

I was so lost I just put in fuse adapter with fuse tried to start car and check I got nothing lol.

My projector lights quit working. Please suggest what should be done? I have visually checked both 10amp fuses and unplugged relay connection to see if there is any corrosion but no corrosion found and it's bone dry.
Any more suggestions please. I can't drive my tundra without lights.

Just to add my strip lights and halo lights still working soon as I turn my engine on.

Thank you for any suggestions and help. 3a23715c9c244566fb1451e9d61d6cfb_5421f46f5dbb688bcd4b1e1c56a498115269c14c.jpg7b521c3ee2613a0a1336044fcc564b4f_3d71457f765612fb105c4f0736d5e635a2c42e47.jpgca0f293104815b95ac27a81e1e82daf5_eb72e775aa64d019415afecd2425a4b48f06a86d.jpg

Is it both sides or just one? Did you check your ground?

For both to go out at the same time, either the fuse on your lowbeam that you plugged into the relay trigger may be fried or the relay itself isn't working. check with a multimeter to make sure you're getting 12V at the H4 plug from ground to lowbeam, (I think that's brown & white wires on the H4 plug). If you have 12v there, then check that you're getting 12V out of the relay to both lights. Since both are not working and I don't tend to believe in coincidences, I'm assuming that's your problem

if you have test leads and either a power supply or a spare battery, you can connect 12v to the input of the ballast and that will or won't confirm that the ballast & bulbs are working and help you further isolate the problem. Make sure you point the bulb away from you if you do this out of the car - those f***ers are bright up close.

i'm interested to hear what ends up being the problem as whatever is broken, I'm buying a spare to carry in my truck.

How much they usually run for $$$ also where to buy spare in case this happens again. If is relay morimoto I think or something like that. Interesting is only since February and maybe already bad relay

is it mounted vertically? Initially, i thought this was for weatherproofing reasons but on my morimoto, it looks like it's potted meaning water couldn't get in anyway. I wonder if the directional mandate is for operational function?

As for replacement, i think morimotos run about $35 including the harness - I'm sure if you call them you could get the relay on it's own for less - perhaps even free if it's under warranty?

Eledobleu said its under warranty and he will send it to me replacement. I having problems because I can't drive at night and I'm screwed now until I get replacement. Here is the pic how my relay is mounted per installation instruction ca493e7e3d578f4808c487b398e3e0a3_0439590e6fe3deb25be5f53b9fafc835c37a2d00.jpg

@LKSR5-14 - let us know if it is the relay please? You've got me thinking now that I need to carry a spare around if it is a point of failure or rewire it to use 3 relays, 1 for both high beam triggers and then one per ballast

Are you sure that's brown and white? I'm looking now and not sure. I thought there are 3 wires coming white, blue and gray?

This is only light that works, DRL. When I Check high beam plug I getting 12V coming from relay but non of them really works high/low beam lights. I'm bit confused. Any advice since I'm comple amateur for this thing? ad6939a07821701d979292f09b2705ff_c69ad13d1157219360875b7ce0e251ec3661f7a6.jpg

yeah, perhaps the just changed the wiring color between batches... pull off that insulating tape and with your low beam switched on, test for voltage between white & grey. You should have +12v. with high beam on, there should be 12v across white & blue

It's already dark out there but I don't think I'm getting any voltage on these wires. I will check tomorrow again and hopefully I will get my replacement relay to test it out with new relay.

No luck with new relay. Plugged new relay and projector lights still dark

Checked H4 stock harness and see below pictures and results.
Ground wires very tight. I have no idea what else to look. Very frustrating

If anyone has any idea what to do kindly thank you in advance.

I'm lost completely, they were working without issues since February and just quit working while DRL working without problems led and halo a1cd05485fe2915a584a1705276febf0_663e5e6f0362cc9f482930b3a2a851320bc13602.jpgab126ef8176e8376c3bdb466d3f377d0_c6bb2b3effcc48f194292d242de34024438a9e26.jpg874be97b480fc5ffc6fae36f7841a60f_60ca9e207171aa5a58f0842632b913c5faf3b173.jpge42834afb98166e1090449f2c7535f58_1eedcdefaedaf5f4ed46737f14da0b219b5a3ddd.jpg056d8acfdd0ba7a5dbf0f5dd773ef5a2_81b6998b5fd59928e11b8e391dd80da086ab6d00.jpgb3d4c386026fa97751f297d13deb2c81_246eda756d847facdb0c8542519d677b40051e9c.jpgd984a0fc2259d36bcbb718ad4c198986_6fbcdb6faa8c74bad211781db33ec90bed037895.jpg

    Quick updateb

Replacement of harness along with relay receiver by best retrofit guy on this forum and I replaced the complete harness with relay but no luck. Any more suggestions are welcome.
    DRL working without problems.
Plugged H4 bulb to to stock H4 harness and bulb works without problems high/low beam.
What else i should do? This is very frustrating

Would someone please help me to resolve this issue? Anyone please?

    Well dang... That sucks man...

OK, with low beam switched on, test for 12v on the input lead to the ballast to make sure you're getting power to them.

If you have power to then, next step takes Kahunas or time...

Also humor me and test for continuity across that fuse? I've had them blow without looking burnt

So it's ballasts, bulbs or grounds then...

    Where are you located?

What are the chances that both ballasts or projectors go bad at same time?

Slim but if you have power to the ballast, that's all it can be. If you have a length of wire, ground both to the battery or chassis ground, see if that helps. If not, swap the bulbs over, nothing after that, swap igniters, post back with update
