Yeah I know that Orange wire is too short to work with it I had to extend it about 12-15 inches to reach the blinker harnesses I just used a soldering iron and heatshrink tubes to make it look more a professional and clean install, but as I mentioned before just used the switchback LED for a week and then disconnected the thing I prefer my LED strip as DRL only (white)

I used 18 gauge wire pink and red (to match the colors in the oem harness) , the orange was no visible I left it inside the bulb gasket, 14-18 t taps should work for you

Best way to go is hiding the wires in the front bumper metal frame I zip tied both harnesses in mine through that metal piece, I couldn't get a good picture with the grill on but this is an idea 1a2589d05cd45f2ae661fda1dd79df07_ecf1042ef8fd5a468363481c64078c76ce0d0e70.jpg574ebe213388dbcc9942ab4276285d3c_6a52e3cfe83a1110d86945c1a5d739ae5a527982.jpg

Removed that nut and run the harness bellow 82c9a8b6ab91ed224cd5e01f3293d302_1093e0e4039f3d8718058b699f96712b42cc4cdd.jpge1a2b1a492f25102436f6fec531bc304_8ba713d536e418ada75e8cbd8b0044b135314a3a.jpg

It's look like short harness, maybe I'm doing incorrectly. Thank you for advice. Are you mount relay on the front or back of the battery bracket

But I'm not sure how the others did because doing it by my way an extension was needed because the HID harness is kinda short for the passenger side so I had to buy some 9006 extensions that was a week wait for me

I ran both harnesseson top right in front of the radiator where the foam piece is. I had an hid kit installed before these headlights and ran that harness in the same location for almost a year without issue. The harness is short but it will reach without extensions.

As for the adjustment I preferred using an 8mm socket and turning the white nut on the back of the headlight. The Phillips felt like it may mess up the metal piece it turns. You can reach that piece at any time (I.e. Grill on or off). I will suggest checking all functionality before putting the grill back on. I stupidly made that mistake.

Also like @iHacker I used 18 gauge wire to extend the switchback. Soldered and finished with liquid electrical tape and heat shrink so no moisture can reach the connection.

Finally the relay, I didn't like how it sat on the battery post so I zip tied it to the frame right in front of the battery. It hangs nice and upright there.

Thank you so much. Well I learned few more things now. I run into the dark and had to stop for tonight. Also it's crazy cold here in Chicago to be outside for long period.

I still need to figure out where to attach computer (ballast) for each side and try to easiest way locate pink and red wires on each side to tap on it.

Definitely would like to have switchback functionality on halos/LED strip.

Where did you attach black ground wire from LED strip?

For the computer ballasts, on the drivers side I zip tied it to a piece of the frame below the outside edge of the headlight. Hard to describe but if you look through the fender in the wheel well (where you removed the 2screws to take the panel off below the light) I mounted it to the piece of the frame that you see there but on the side closest to the bumper.

On the passenger side I zip tied it to the vertical piece of frame on the outside of the radiator. I zip ties just the top so the bottom could extend out to make all the wires connect.

For the ground wire on the led strip I used the nut that is recommended by @eledobleu in the set up picture at the beginning of this thread.

To mount the ballasts I used Velcro patches and attached them to the headlights but with connectors facing down 6f6fdf558f15852ce39305e719ff812a_918093105ba60bc01763f65b7e19fd516e31a779.jpg

Under dashboard toward center console next to tire pressure reset sensor notice one plug just in air. Do any of you notice this wire and do you know what it is for? I'm not sure if I unplug it while removing cover or it was already loose. I was removed panel to unplug small gray wire to disable factory drl.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The plug have a place there close to the big connector in your pic but isn't in use I'm not sure what's the use for that plug but in my truck is only inserted in. Maybe for an add on in the higher trims not present in ours (Parking sensors, lane departure warning, etc)

Thank you and thanks for all your help. Still need to adjust levels. Also I recently notice little shaking or flickering on left side but after minute disappeared. Not sure what could be.

I have put it in that place since I could not figure what is for. Probably it's front sensors.

What kind of projectors did you go for your retrofit?

Mine had a flicker too, check for your ground points to be doing a perfect contact and if they are ok check the pigtails in each 9006 connectors that was my case one of the pigtails in the driver side was loose and not making a good contact so my bulb goes off after a few seconds.
