So after having a recent suction cup fail and its not even extremely hot yet, I decided to go for a different option versus having an expensive device falling to the floor. My detector is the Escort Max 360c MKII. The plate is the Ram mount power plate. For the ball mount, I went with the Tack Form 20mm to fit my ICS arms. I liked the all aluminum setup versus the Ram plastic arm and ball. The Ram plate uses 2 earth magnets. They are definitely strong. It wont fall now. :D Below are the links to the plate and ball mount. I also included the link for the arm if you are looking for a full setup. The only other item needed if you don't have one already is a 20mm ball mount for the dash plate. For power, I am using the mirror tap and tapped it into the power wires for the USB port.

Uniden makes good units. They have been making radar detectors for many years. And the R9 has laser jammers.....nice!

Rx350 retrofitted, Morimoto Led fogs. interior and exterior leds swap. TRD drop in filter. Carbon filter delete. Led DRL panels. TRD Shift knob.
I have the R7 and it’s nice. Still need more bsm filtering though. Even with certain setting. It is still picking up Hondas and Buick on the road. Otherwise it is a great unit. Best one i’ve own so far. No plan to upgrade anytime.

Thanks for posting this. I have a R7 and been contemplating how to mount this to the Rago plate. Can you clarify how you mounted the detector? Just magnets?

If you look at the link that I posted for the Ram power plate, you will see a plate on the bottom of the detector. It's a peel and stick, and it comes with the mount. All that you will need besides the 3 items in post #1 is an arm and ball mount to attach to the Rago plate. I have the ICS 20 mm arm and mount. For power, I used the mirror tap and tapped it into the power feeding the usb port on the Rago.

Awesome! I originally tried one of the phone mounts but it didnt work well. I really need something I can easily remove it and keep out of the sun when I'm not using it. I'll look into your set up.
