That would be my next step, put the original wheels and sensors back on vehicle and see if they can can be written back into the ECU. If they work, that indicates the TS508 is working, and the new sensors are probably not working/compatible with the Tundra.

    UPDATE:

Purchased new TRW sensors and I was able to program them no problem - took about 3-5 mins to wrap it up. Happy to report the TS508 works great - the sensors were the issue. Thank you @TechWrench for the guidance!

I read through this old post and I know very little this subject. But I bought some used winter tires from a guy. I had them installed on new mags because I didn't like the old ones. He said I needed to use a compatable Autel programmer. I had Toyota dealership swap my summer to winter tires. They could not program the winter Autel sensors to my 2021 Tundra. I told them to order OEM tpms sensors and change them. But its going to cost me $75.00 each whell for the sensors plus $35.00 each wheel to install them.

Can I buy the Autel programmer and set them up for my truck ?

Yep....the 20/21 does not like most aftermarket sensors. Hopefully your dealer knows how to register and get them to show the pressures. When I was going through this I called 3 dealers and they had no idea how to do it, or that the consumer could do it without a programmer or scanner.

You are better off with the OEM sensors. The Autel scanners are not cheap.

I called around and a mechanic shop close (RDIL Automotive & Equipment) to my work has Autel computer and programmer. He reprogrammed them this morning for me for free !! Great guy. The light on my dash is out but I haven't driven it much yet so hopefully it stays out.

edit- lights back on……..so I guess I have to change to the new Toyota tpms sensors
