Enclosed or open air, wear a organic vapor respirator when using the 2K clear. It's pretty well accepted that this is a must.

yes, please wear a respirator. Paint is nasty to begin with but the 2k clear is professional grade stuff and no joke

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
I agree with post #32. Be safe use PP&E when painting. Back in the day when paint was loaded with lead, people ended up having respiratory issues not waring a good respirator, two stage is good 3 is better. Always put in in a clean plastic resealable bag when finished, ditch the first stage if it can be removed from the cartridge.
It’s the heavy particle exposure part. The carbon part can go bad quicker if you just leave it out in the air.
Wipe down the inside, an area that touches your face, bacteria can form left unattended or dirty.
Just a thought ... safety first.

@Jwood562, thanks for the very helpful post. I used the Automotive Touchup 12oz spray can of 1D6 metallic silver paint by Microfinish LLS with good results. You are so right in that the parts should not be laying flat when painting metallic color. You won't get much metal flake out of the can. I hung the parts vertically using wire coat hangers. Thanks again for the OP and photos!
