The 3157CK will fit into your current 2017 bulb/socket and then you will twist the VLED unit into the 2018 headlight housing.

Did we get an answer for the fuse size?

I've got the Moto harness hooked right on the battery terminals and the relay harness comes with a 25 amp fuse already installed. Toyota's wire diagrams had the halogen headlights on a 15amp and the LED headlights on a 10amp fuse

So the Moto unit has a 25 amp fuse already installed? How about the water proof in-line fuse holder for the 1 relay set up? Is that one a 10 amp?

10 amp should be more than enough, I run 5amp with no problems

Ok, 5-10amp on the in-line and 25amp already comes with the moto.

    Thanks

I'm still lost. I've made the harness for the 8 pin plug that'll plug right into the motocontrol. Can I run my lights this way or do I need to purchase and fabricate another harness with the Hella H84708001 and the Hella H41410081. If I can run my lights just by plugging my 8 pin harness to the motocontrol harness then I'm just going to go with it and make a video when I hook it all up tomorrow. I've seen the diagrams but just couldn't piece it all together.

You need the 1 relay set up to make your DRL’s function properly.

So what you're saying is that without the one relay harness my LED DRL won't come on at all or will is stay bright the whole time i start the engine?

If you have an SR5 your truck does not have factory LED DRL’s. You need to build the DRL plugs with the relay to make them work.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Would you happen to know where I can find a diagram or discription of how to build the DRL plugs with relay?

If you bought the hella just follow the numbers on the relay as the diagram shows and you’ll be fine, I personally wouldn’t use a fuse tap. I’d use a inline fuse waterproof and connect directly at the battery.
    You can get at AutoZone

Ok so according to the diagram, 85 goes to ground after I depinned the grey wire from the DRL control unit. But what about the (2) 24" purple wire that I circled?

Put the purple wires to the purple at the c bulb 3 pin harness
The wire you depin or cut goes to 85 at the relay, so 1 wire is going inside to the gray wire other end to relay at 85.

Ok so if I don't make that small harness with the 24" purple wire then can I just plug this in to the 75929 plug?

That purple still has to be used, so it has to go back in the harness. If you don’t wanna build a mini harness you can just tap into that purple.
