How much money do you have in your Tundra?

ordering rear springs and exhaust will put it over 17,000$ This month.

 

How much money do I have in my tundra you ask ? ..... I've got a couple bucks in change sitting in the center console

 

Around 19 k on top of the cost of the truck it’s self, probably forgot a lot honestly. Really stupid! Never again!

 

I would like to add I will keep this truck forever, may not be my only truck but I will always have it.

 

Since I try do everything myself, I think I have more $ in labor than actual hardware/parts. Always takes twice as long the first time around.

About $3500 so far, but that's a nice list for what I have paid. And this includes all the little extras that were needed to install the stuff.

 

Solid 10k with install after 6112/5160, UCAs, Methods, Cooper ST Maxx's, CB shackles, Stealthfighter bumper with rigid lightbar, RCI skid plate, ADD lite steps. About to be another 3400 in for new suspension setup.

 

After reading through this I don't think I want to know what the "real" number is for my truck. I know I'm in way deep, but it is spread out over the years. I added up a few things and went over $20k very fast, so I quickly stopped counting before I got sick, lol!

Not to even consider the 500+hours of my time and labor spent installing and tweaking everything.
I've paid everything off as I did them so I don't feel like I've spent too much if I don't actually add it all up.
But what I do know is....
I absolutely NEEDED every single mod!!!

 

The less you think about it, the happier you'll be. But I guestimate close to $4000 on QOL/necessary mods (some of which are on their way), I've yet to touch the suspension/interior/engine/bed/electrical

 

I have full intentions on supercharging mine in the next year or two, so add another 7-9k to mine.

 

I ve been thinking of buying the XB Morimoto fog lights here. Is that what you got? If so did you get the yellow colored ones? I m wondering if they are any better than white ones...
I ve about 10k into my 07 DC. 7" lift, wheels and tires, 270 amp alternator, kenwood headunit, and other audio goodies.

All labor on me so far. Soon I’ll get 33’s on the new black rims, throw the 5100’s on, and get an alignment. That’ll bump it up another $1100 or so I am sure.

 

i want the damn supercharger, but to get it here to the netherlands its going to cost me more then 13K euro

but for now i with sound and remote 3 to 4K

 

About $4,000 with wheels, tires, shocks, bed liner, step rails, and rear sway bar. Seems like these are good, practical foundation type mods rather than just cosmetic. I haven't gotten obsessed with making any other changes right now.

I was saved by the fact that damn near everything is back ordered.

 

Bought her new in 2002 for $30k.

Paid about $20k in Personal Property Taxes on her since. Almost no PPT at this point in her depreciated life thankfully.

Since 2018 she has about $8k put back into her in thanks for her never breaking down on me. Not even once.

Well FYI the aftermarket truck accessories business is about 40 billion bucks per year. People buy what they see, making repeat sales pretty easy too. Sometimes I think hmm, maybe time to take the plunge! Then watch the news and say well not so fast!
