oh man... probably about $13k. I did lift and tires twice. i should have heeded the adage, "pay once, cry once."

We should do a sub-section of how much $$$ worth of mods are sitting on your garage 'waiting for install' ? I'll start. I've got a solid 2k still sitting there :/

I made a list the other day just to keep it straight in my head. What I thought would have come to ~10 or so items came to about 25, some of which I’ve since removed and or replaced...

$$ wise, probably in the 5-6k range.

Just added it all up and in 5 months since I've purchased the truck, I spent $11,100. I should have my head examined for spending like that on a brand new truck. But WTF, you only live once and you can't take the money with you when you die. I love my truck!!

Longer list than the wife needs to know about....
The correct is answer is "more than I told my wife, less than I want to, but significantly more than any rational person should have".
This is like asking 'how many beers have you had to drink'.... its not nice to count.

Somewhere in the $5-6k range. It was nice when I traded my DC for a CM and was able to swap most of my mods over except the suspension.

This question made me pause and take stock of my life because I have almost $5k CAD in my truck already and I don't feel like I've actually done anything to it yet.

    Canopy: $2300
    Bed liner: $600
Winter tires on steel rims: $2000

Expensive mods I want to do at some point:
    Rear sway bar
    Towing mirrors
    Lowering kit
    Storage under rear seat
    Can't remember what else

Grand Total, with the price of my 2020 Platinum+mods, I have around $115,000 in my truck, but NOBODY wants the mods I have! Sure, I have SCS Ray 10 wheels, Toytec Aluma Series lift, Nitto RGs 295/70r18, Coachbuilder +3 Shackles, Timbren bumps tops front and back, SPC UCAs, Body colored mirror caps and door handles, TRD Pro headlights, 20% matching tint, etc., but I also have my right leg amputated above the knee and left leg with a titanium femoral rod, 3 plates, and 18 screws. That lead to me to having to get handicapped accessible modifications for my truck to the tune of $50,000. I have an Adapt Solutions Link drivers seat which drops down out of the vehicle electronically, an Access-A-Top bed cap that lifts and pivots to store a wheelchair in the bed of the truck, a Bruno electronic winch that pivots and lifts my wheelchair from the ground to the bed of the truck, and a Mobility Works left foot gas pedal in which they put another gas pedal on the left side of the brake because I don't have a right leg. So, with that being said I think I have the MOST EXPENSIVE TUNDRA in the WORLD, that NOBODY besides me would want. LOL Not complaining though, I thought I was going to be stuck driving one of those handi-vans for the rest of my life until I found these modifications, I am damn proud of my truck! If anybody has any questions for a friend or a loved one that is faced with mobility issues just message me, I would love to help.

Obviously, this is NOT my truck in the video, but thought I would post it so those that are interested could understand how everything works.

First of all, my wife doesn't care about my mods or the money I spend on them.
We have separate checking accounts, it works for us.
She just rolled her eyes when I tried to show her the TRD Pro LED headlights last weekend.

I probably don't want to know how much I've spent on mods since December of 2014, but here goes.

600 TRD Pro halogen headlights in 2015
700 LED TRD Pro headlights in 2020
400 Rigid fogs and TRD Pro bezels for fog lights
300 Rigids fogs I first bought and didn't like
1000 TRD Pro grille and color matched hood bulge, had to get the surround painted locally in 2015
1200 BAM exhaust First an 8 and now a 10. Paid for original 8 then shipping for the 10 swap
    35 lighted key ring
1500 Compustar alarm/remote start and 5 years of a Drone mobile subscription
1500 KO2 tires replaced my original KO when they wore out. Is that a mod?
500 Misc LED lights: grille, floor board, custom puddle lights in mirrors, all interior and exterior bulbs replaced with LEDs
    200 Muth Signal mirrors
    1100 Amp Powersteps
100 bed lights, used OEM LED bedlights
900 Undercover Flex, on my second one. First one replaced under warranty. Should have bought another Retrax.
    100 Silver TRD shift knob
100 Black TRD shift knob after buying AJT blackout stuff.
    125 AJT stuff
    100 Pop n' Lock
1300 6112/5160s plus install and alignment in 2015
200 Bedrug bed and tailgate mat
    200 Undercover swing case
300 for an X2 Power AGM battery that failed on me and Batteries Plus screwed me on warranty.
150 for the Interstate battery that replaced it, used the X2 for a core return
1000 katzkin leather that replaced the thin Limited leather I had added when I bought new
    200 Husky floor mats
1000 Lock'er Down console vault and what is in it..
    5300 Sound system;:
1500 3 HUs 500 each 1 Pioneer and 2 Kenwoods. Currently running Kenwood
    800 Alpine PDX V9
1000 JL Audio twin 10 Stealthbox
600 Front door speakers Focal PS165FX plus JBL door sails
150 Rear door speakers Focal PS 165AC
    250 sound deadening
1000 on 2 DSPs trying to make the stock Entune HU sound worth a sh!t and failing

    Roughly $21000 plus.
    WOW..
    Who knew?

This doesn't even include the time I spent installing all this stuff.
I can't imagine the price per hour if I paid someone to do it.
