How much money do you have in your Tundra?

oh man... probably about $13k. I did lift and tires twice. i should have heeded the adage, "pay once, cry once."

 

It adds up so fast.

 

We should do a sub-section of how much $$$ worth of mods are sitting on your garage 'waiting for install' ? I'll start. I've got a solid 2k still sitting there :/

like the rago dash mount. I had a month there were I was going FULL OVERLAND.....then I stopped.

 

I made a list the other day just to keep it straight in my head. What I thought would have come to ~10 or so items came to about 25, some of which I’ve since removed and or replaced...

$$ wise, probably in the 5-6k range.

 

How old are the kids? Maybe a lesson in auto shop is needed.

Just added it all up and in 5 months since I've purchased the truck, I spent $11,100. I should have my head examined for spending like that on a brand new truck. But WTF, you only live once and you can't take the money with you when you die. I love my truck!!

 

Over $30K USD in mods on my race truck.

 

The correct is answer is "more than I told my wife, less than I want to, but significantly more than any rational person should have".
This is like asking 'how many beers have you had to drink'.... its not nice to count.

I got a BedRug, floor mats, and a console safe. I've probably spent more money washing it.

 

Somewhere in the $5-6k range. It was nice when I traded my DC for a CM and was able to swap most of my mods over except the suspension.

This question made me pause and take stock of my life because I have almost $5k CAD in my truck already and I don't feel like I've actually done anything to it yet.

Grand Total, with the price of my 2020 Platinum+mods, I have around $115,000 in my truck, but NOBODY wants the mods I have! Sure, I have SCS Ray 10 wheels, Toytec Aluma Series lift, Nitto RGs 295/70r18, Coachbuilder +3 Shackles, Timbren bumps tops front and back, SPC UCAs, Body colored mirror caps and door handles, TRD Pro headlights, 20% matching tint, etc., but I also have my right leg amputated above the knee and left leg with a titanium femoral rod, 3 plates, and 18 screws. That lead to me to having to get handicapped accessible modifications for my truck to the tune of $50,000. I have an Adapt Solutions Link drivers seat which drops down out of the vehicle electronically, an Access-A-Top bed cap that lifts and pivots to store a wheelchair in the bed of the truck, a Bruno electronic winch that pivots and lifts my wheelchair from the ground to the bed of the truck, and a Mobility Works left foot gas pedal in which they put another gas pedal on the left side of the brake because I don't have a right leg. So, with that being said I think I have the MOST EXPENSIVE TUNDRA in the WORLD, that NOBODY besides me would want. LOL Not complaining though, I thought I was going to be stuck driving one of those handi-vans for the rest of my life until I found these modifications, I am damn proud of my truck! If anybody has any questions for a friend or a loved one that is faced with mobility issues just message me, I would love to help.

First of all, my wife doesn't care about my mods or the money I spend on them.
We have separate checking accounts, it works for us.
She just rolled her eyes when I tried to show her the TRD Pro LED headlights last weekend.
