How much is too much

After much self debate I have decided. The Corolla is getting sold and I am getting that bed, a grill, hood bulge, fenders and a bumper. Gonna bring the big girl back into shape.

 

My work truck has the 6.2 and 6 speed it gets about the same fuel economy as my Tundra and does everything better. If a crew cab F250 would fit in my garage, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

Two friends of mine have the F250/7.3 and would also take one of those.

 

I'm kinda hoping this doesn't sell any time soon and sees a price drop. LOL

 

I just read about the most hilarious interaction between a pilot and ATC ever.
Pilot: request clearance for 60,000 feet
ATC: ya sure buddy, if you can get up there go for it
Pilot: Roger, descending to 60,000

Turns out it was an SR71.

 

The SR71 pilots loved screwing with ATC. Lol

I think a certain level of wise assery is a requirement to be an SR71 pilot. LOL

 

I hate my medication, it gives me very vivid, very strange dreams and I wake up not knowing what is real and what isn't. I catch myself questioning reality more and more lately to the point my life feels like some weird episode of the twilight zone

 

Raise that with your doc. See if they can lower the dose or move you to something else. Ask about the side effects.

Sadly, pharma companies pay lots of money to get there stuff prescribed so you may not be on a med that is actually the best treatment.

 

I've been a guinea pig for a few new drugs, this latest one is crazy. It's called Invega Trinza, if you are curious enough to research it. All the side effects I'm having are considered normal and my doc seems to think they'll go away with time. Honestly though, I'm ready to just stop taking them altogether.

 

Careful if it's an antidepressant. Cold turkey stops can actually cause brain damage. If you want off it then tell your doc, or a different doc even.

Seek it out, then. Health is a very individual thing and there is no one size fits all for all aspects of it.

Just remember, you're not allowed to quit.

 

The moral support one can get around here is off the charts. But seeking out the right care is up to you on what that means. I also like what @GZ said above. You're not allowed to quit.

 

Thanks again guys, I'm making a call to my insurance when they open in a bit and finding another brain shrinker, hopefully 1 who does a little more listening and a little less dosing.
I'm also going to see about getting my night job back at the airport, I was much happier when I was constantly busy (distracted)

 

Find a psychologist instead of a psychiatrist if you don't want prescriptions. They are two different takes, but if you need the meds you can at least make the case eith your doc that you want to avoid medication as much as possible.

 

Had my 1st comeback today. Guy was mad as hell that I didn't balance his tires when I did the rotation like that is part of the service. Told him I'd balance them for $10 if he paid cash, he called me a "fuckin scammy son of a bitch" and said he'd have it done at discount tire...
I said "you have yourself a great day sir" and almost choked to death trying to hold in my laughter. Discount charges $20 a piece for tire balancing. My offer won't be available when he comes back after learning that. it'll be $88.68.

 

What a turd. If you don't ask for a rotate AND balance then you're only getting the one you ask for. People are dumb.

 

I do an inspection, I lube the chassis, change the oil/filter and rotate tires. We only balance tires that we sell unless they specify and pay for a balance.

 

Yup. Balance is always a special request unless you are mounting tires. No rotation just comes with it. That customer is the scammy son of a bitch for trying to get it free.

 

Is $250 a good deal for a platinum grill and hood bulge in perfect condition? I mean perfect, all tabs in tact, hardware (pins and bolts) included and delivered. I have a chance to scoop this up but don't wanna buy it and find a better deal the next day




Just realized it doesn't have sensor emblem... Does that matter?

 

That's pretty solid, but one thing; what year is your truck? That grille in the pic won't work for a 2018+ truck because of the TSS sensor stuff. If you're in a 2014-2017 it should be an easy swap.

 

Figures... It's an 18. Ive already lost that function and have the "pre-collision failure" message though.

 

The center of the grille is different because the sensor is mounted behind the emblem, so I don't know if it will physically fit with the different center part.

I'll take my grill off the truck when I look at it, that way I can compare them. I think id just need the tss relocation from AJT.
