I can't imagine any bank here giving a shit about any number of individual accounts. They're all about the corporate accounts and investments only. Our current bank isn't even interested in competing with other banks for mortgages.

How did you keep the TC locked in 5th? That's a skill I don't have.

I'm not really monitoring anything, just by feel. It probably wasn't as locked as I think it was:rofl:

IIRC in CO you can carry, but I believe it's illegal to drink if you are carrying.

Our credit union has a board of directors that are voted in...or out. ;)
I do not use the typical large banks.

I can tell when mine is unlocked in 5th when towing my trailer because the speed will just start to drop off on level ground. But to keep it locked, I have to keep on the gas so much that I end up going crazy fast. S4 is a better option for my truck and trailer.

Ya I did notice it dropping off, I'd just bump the cruise up a couple MPH to compensate.

    Absolutely correct. Positivity "counts."
Back when I used to do such things, I would say I've hired more guys with great attitudes, a willingness to learn but little direct experience, than the other way around.
Don't discount how you present yourself.
    Hang in there OP.

P.S. It's entirely possible the "we have a few more interviews" line isn't BS.

My best self has never really been good enough, I show up with a fake ass version that is even better.
But I think I should just be able to say "give me a chance and watch how hard I'll run my dick into the dirt for you"
Not that I said that but I mean...

Too old to keep fuckin around. I wish I had answers to the other questions. I just want to be a productive member of society, or maybe just not be a part of it anymore, I don't really know. I've been a failure for so long it's all I know. Fuckin up is all I'm good at.

I don't mean to be a douche, and I obviously don't know you from Adam to verify the validity of your claims, but that attitude does show up in interviews even with or in spite of heroic acting performances.

Might be worth taking some work that's "beneath you" for a period of time to establish some roots/ work history/ stability. While there are parts of your current vagabond lifestyle that I envy, it isn't exactly the strongest resume builder.

I didn't chose this life, I'm making the best of what I have to work with. I gave everything to a woman who took advantage, used me up, then kicked me to the curb when I wasn't useful to her anymore. Im just trying to rebuild some sense of humanity.

No matter what cards we are dealt we have the choice to play the hand we want. Harsh words- but don't go blaming some woman who used you up, when you allowed her to do so. Put a smile on your face and make the most of whatever and wherever you are today. Bring your best self to everything you do.

Yeah, people can be shit. Sorry you're getting dragged through it.

Also, I wasn't trying to insinuate anything by my previous post, but just offering you an employer's perspective of how "stability" is very often conflated with "reliability" when selecting prospective employees.

Likewise as a consumer, we can tolerate a lot of idiosyncrasies if you're the best at what you do. "Idiot savant" is understandably a dated term due to its derogatory nature, but I think it can apply here. e.g. I don't mind if Tommy wears his boots on the wrong feet and calls me a different name every time I see him - because he's the best marine mechanic to ever do it, etc.
